One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Modern, nicely designed space. Cocktails great. Had everything on the bar menu, oysters, deviled eggs, Bolognese was amazing. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best food in the Pioneer Valley right now (runner up is Waxwing in Hatfield). The tasting menu is a bargain for what you get — not just food but amazing service and atmosphere. I’m so impressed and can’t wait to go back.

I know this sounds hyperbolic, but this was really an exceptional meal start to finish. I'll remember it as one of my favorites ever. Both the service and food were amazing. The housemade pasta dishes were perfect examples of both dishes. (I eat pasta almost daily) The soy deviled eggs were unique and fantastic, the salad fresh and bright, the chocolate tart was perfectly paired. Even the bread starter was perfect, warm and soft. I hope to go here again in the future despite living on the opposite coast.

Really excellent place, we arrived with a group of three for the snack menu, which is more like restaurant dishes, available later in the evening. We had at least one of everything on the snack menu except for the oysters. Every dish was really perfect, but the pasta and eggs were especially good.

We went on a Saturday night at 6:30 and the atmosphere and service was almost as amazing as the food. Staff came to clear dishes, fill water and check on us in a non- intrusive manner. But the food was what we came for and it didn’t disappoint. We had the oysters as appetizer and the mignonette sauce was perfectly balanced. Our main dishes- the Campanelle Bolognese and the Cacio de Pepe bucantini were flavorful and perfect with the Austin Hope Cab Sauvignon. The pork belly sandwich had a perfect spice flavor. Left us looking forward to returning!

The food is delicious but service is so bad!We have been there before the pandemic and it was incredible. The restaurant I was waiting for! And then, after a long period of being closed they reopened and in the two visits we had there we were disappointed. The first time- we got there at 7:30. From a 6 dishes menu, the two entrees were missing. The drinks arrived after the food was served and almost eaten completely. Refill was beyond of their capability since we asked for another drink and it came after the desert was finished. The restaurant was not full at the time. Second time we goth there we set and could not open the menu since there was no cell reception where they set us. When we told the manager that her answer was “yes you can go outside get reception, check the menu and come back in”. Needless to say we skipped this offer and went to another place. I am so disappointed, since the food is really extraordinary, but the service is what makes me to not ever want to come back there.What a lost. Danielle

Patria was recommended by Malia at Pastamani, who we love and I had asked for her favorite creative restaurants. She was spot-on. Patria was super creative, fresh, and really thought-out. Every dish has a natural balance of flavors and it felt like evoked flavors and textures we hadn’t experienced before. It’s expensive and portions are small, but you eat lots of smaller plates and it all adds up to a healthy meal that we will remember for a long long time. Kudos to the chef & team.

The only way to make a reservation was to do it online and choose the $100 tasting menu for 2. I asked if one person could do the tasting menu and the other alacarte. They said no. So we went for it. The first of the 6 courses was a small floret of curried cauliflower with a slight hint of yogurt sauce. The next was hamachi crude with a peach tea sauce. It was better. the next few courses were small and unmemorable. The pasta course was good The next to last course was a plate of kielbasa and pork belly and a few other items. It was great. The last course was a buttermilk ice cream. It was excellent. In the end it was way overpriced for Northampton. They meant well but did not reach the mark for a $100 tasting menu. If there was a way for us to order ala carte it would have been much better. Sit at the bar or outside. Maybe they will allow indoor diners to choose ala carte soon because the tasting menu is a reach.

This is such a nice addition to downtown Northampton, which has a lot of restaurants, but nothing like this. We had a seriously fancy meal at a surprisingly affordable price (I’ve spent far more on mediocre sushi). I’m actually going to dream about the deviled eggs here for… ever I think? Strange but true. Small plates, but they’re worth it, because what you are getting is truly creative and delicious fine dining food that even a really good home cook probably couldn’t dream to think up. That’s all I’ve really wanted for a local restaurant and now we’ve got it. Also the service was impeccable and the drinks were very good. Bring someone here if you want to impress them, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back.
