Came for drinks and have to just say the bathroom situation is a mess. Anytime someone in our group came back there was a different story of line cutting or verbal harassment. Drinks were fine, not overly sweet if you had the fruit flavor added. Multiple times our drinks were brought over with bugs in them, which they found out came from one of the bottles of vermouth.

I haven't been to The Deck in a couple of years and I realized how much I have missed this place. Stopped by for 2 drinks only and the atmosphere was great as always and the bartender was attentive and personable. I've forgotten his name unfortunately, or I'd give him a shout out. Nice experience.

Great place for music and dancing. Best rock and roll group , The Bromantics “.Excellent bar food and drinks. Always attentive and friendly servers. One of our favorite summer places…and free parking.Kid-friendliness: Our large group included a toddler. Our server was always thinking ahead for what might be needed eg: high chair, extra napkins or a smile.

There was over 20 of us who stopped off for drinks before dinner. Setting was beautiful. Beer and wine were obviously fine but the mixed drinks - they were horrible. We had Mai Tai's, Pan killers and martinis. Everyone said the same thing. There was very minimal alcohol in the drinks at a very high cost. We left after one drink.

Stopped here with my husband and dog on our way back from a vacation up north. Was looking for a dog-friendly eatery, and found just that in this gem, located next to the Northampton train station stop. We arrived crabby and weary from the road but our server (Jasmine, I believe) greeted us with a huge smile and was so kind to us and our pup, bringing him a bowl or water and us two ice cold waters to start. Eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs when we settled on two apps (the duck confit poutine AND the giant pretzel). Both were tasty, but could've done with just the pretzel. I had their Peace of Mind mocktail and my husband had a couple of margaritas and we had the Hickory BBQ burger while I picked at the quinoa bowl topped with shrimp (tasty, but was way too full from the apps to enjoy it). Overall, the three of us had an excellent experience and enjoyed watching folks arrive and depart from the station from the clean, airy patio. Would recommend to anyone/ with or without a pup!

So my review has to do with the dishonesty of the staff. We left our shopping bag at the establishment. It was turned in and I spoke to Nina, the manager, who said she had the bag and would hold it in the manager's office. When I returned the next day to get it, the on duty floor manager said he couldn't find it, even after calling and speaking to her. It's now been a week and after several emails back and forth and Nina speaking to her staff, my bag is suddenly "missing".It doesn't take a brain surgeon to know one of the staff decided to take home everything we bought. I would never come to such an awful, dishonest place again and not to mention she never even tried to offer me anything in return for them stealing it. Pathetic.

We were looking for a dog friendly lunch spot passing through MA on I-91 and found this place on here and it was perfect. They had a huge outdoor tent area with tons of seating. Food was all fairly good, even the kids grilled cheese. I had the pulled pork po'boy which was more of a Cajun spin on the meal and was excellent. We make this drive a few times a year so we will definitely keep it in mind for the future. Only negative is I wish they validated parking since it's in the lot of the train station. $2 for the first hour, $1 for each additional. Not bad, but unexpected for a restaurant like this.

Recently stopped at the Deck for a beer and appetizers. The charcuterie board was really good. Will definitely go back again. Service was great at the bar.

Waitress and fare was great and friendly, but the music was too loud. Not able to talk to friends. I actually went to hear the particular band, but needed to be more like a block away.

New menu is a drastic improvement, and service was excellent. Also great newer outdoor seating.

We have eaten there several times and generally enjoyed ourselves. This time it was similar except for my food. I ordered the fish and chips. The description from the online menu: Fresh beer battered cod loin fried to a golden brown. Served with hand cut fries, coleslaw and a lemon wedge. Guess what - they lied. My piece of supposed "Cod Loin" had 5 bones between 1" and 1.5" long. This was obviously not loin but some cheaper, probably frozen, substitute fish. I showed this to our waiter, Joseph, and he commented that this was unusual and that he would mention something to the kitchen staff. It is sad to see The Deck stoop to this level. It will be a long time before we return.Parking: They just started charging for parking and they don't validate.

A THIEF IN THEIR STAFF? Brittany D (from my receipt) presented the tablet for a tip. I selected "custom tip" and "5" and "00", a 17.3% tip. SOMEONE INFLATED MY TIP to $7.60 on my credit card billing! An irate phone call yielded a $2.60 credit, despite the fact that I requested a refund on the entire tip. I DO NOT TIP THIEVES. I left a message. They have not returned my calls or credited me. THIS COUNTRY IS FED UP WITH TIPFLATION, but when they have your credit card in hand and add what they want, they should be called out for THIEVERY.Also, the "Dewars" was not the real thing. My guest, who enjoys this often, took one sip and declared it was "LIGHTER FLUID". I tasted it and agreed that it is not like the bottle at home. Also, the cup of marinara sauce was ice cold, straight from the fridge.Response after management reply: There was no "mistake". I know what I entered on the tip screen. I asked for the entire tip back, not just the added amount. How dare you keep any of the tip at all, when I asked for it back after it was changed.

I attended Union Station Banquet Hall for a wedding. If the level of service at the Deck Bar is half of what we received at the wedding then this is a place to visit. The staff that served the wedding was surpurlative. If you are looking for a place to have an event your search would be over if you book your event here.

Joe was an amazing server. He accommodated our party of 12 for a Bachlorette party and was so nice! We frequented other establishments and his service was aces in comparison. Thank you Joe!
