Everything about the new Green Room (now independently operated) is perfection. It’s truly the bar Northampton deserves. Next level craft cocktails, speakeasy atmosphere, hand cut ice, and exceptional service. We had the Trident and a Daiquiri which were both amazing.If you’re in the area and looking for a cute date night, a nook to read and drink, or a place to celebrate with friends this is the spot to check out. They also have non-alcoholic and mocktail options which I appreciate.

If you've ever wanted to have a conversation with a somehow pro-life republican that god knows how got a job as a bar back in Northampton this is the place to go ... how are you gonna be against women's rights as a lesbian in one of the most liberal towns in the most liberal state in the country and bring up your political views at work

While visiting town for a wedding, I was at another establishment that referred me to The Green Room saying it was a 'prohibition style speakeasy' and a 'whisky bar.'Once I arrived, I struggled to find the connection between The Green Room and any speakeasy I've been to. The door is well marked on a side street, the walls are straight painted drywall, and the décor, nothing prohibition style. It was nice and welcoming, but not what i expected.The bar... they did have a fairly good whisky menu. In addition, the bartenders were friendly to talk to and we're willing to chat a little and come up with a creative, crafty cocktail to suite the occasion.Although not prohibition or speakeasy in my book, this was still a great place for a cocktail that anyone reading this should checkout!

Great place to enjoy a cocktail. Very interesting menu with choices for every taste. More than a bar is a full experience. Don't like what you see on the menu? Ask for a cocktail tailored to what you want. The staff is very attentive and gives good service.

Fantastic drink, plus fun showmanship. Can't speak for food, we already ate and there were very few places open after we got out of the Tunnel Bar. We wanted a decent drink and didn't want to travel. Yelp reviews are spot on! This was 1/3 mile away. You want a solid drink then Kale will deliver! He makes a delicious drink but it is a treat to watch the process! Sounds funny, but there is a lot of science going on with this bartending. He is an artist. Sunday night was dead and a great time to go! Weekends are packed and wall to wall. You will not get a better cocktail in the area. This is a NYC level cocktail bar.

Great ambiance, even better curated cocktails. Loved the music and vibe. The Venus was light and flavorful, and the Black Manhattan was dark and complex.

Went here week of Thanksgiving and had an awesome night. This was my first time at the Green Room and I look forward to coming back. Extensive cocktail menu with bartenders that have plenty of knowledge. Kale was our bartender and offered a great experience.

This is why I come to a bar: great drinks that I can't easily make at home, and easy conversation. Plenty of care was put into the drink menu and the drinks themselves. These guys are pros. Even the simple drinks were executed perfectly. I had the most delicious whiskey sour I've tried, hands down.Biggest con: it's hard to decide because all the drinks sound great. Guess I'll have to keep coming back until I've tried everything.
