If a zero were a thing I’d leave that. Not only is the food pretty terrible that’s actually the least of it from the experience I had about two weeks ago. Four other friends and I decided to have dinner and drinks. We got about four apps and all got meals and drinks. The waitress was clearly weeded which is fine maybe it was too busy for her but then when she was cut and let it be known she was cut she said she would send another server over and never did. Cool. We paid our tab with her which was about $400. We then decided to get another round through the bar. Cool great fine. So it was the anniversary of our friends dads death so the conversation got emotional and some tears were shed. The bartender rude as hell comes over interrupts us with our tab in her hand and says” are you guys all set? “ wasn’t even last call nor did we get offered last call. We were done anyway but still had not finished our drinks. Whatever we were finishing the conversation gathering our money when now the manager an old guy with white hair also interrupts us and even more rude than the bartender states that we need to hurry up and pay the tab! Like really?!? No mention of last call or anything like what because our friend is crying you think we are drunk or something? No. So unprofessional and flat out rude. I couldn’t believe it. So again we paid that tab and we will never give a dollar to that establishment ever again. Shame on them. We spent over $500 dollars just to get rushed out after horrible service and food. What a joke. Collectively my friends and I had been in the bar industry for over 15 years and I’ve never seen such rude behavior over an emotional conversation partaking in a bar we thought we were welcome in.

I have been to Boston tavern before and was a good experience, so i went back again and felt rushed to order food as our waitress Dawn kept asking me if im done with making orders to so she can make the check so we can leave i felt rushed from her also i also had a person of color with me, she felt the same that we was being rushed to leave as you guys wasn't too busy and had tables available, probably be the last time for me there in the Norwood location. You cant keep asking customers are you done so i can finish the bill for you ordering from beginning of your meal.... i spent over 100$ and still feel funny about that rushing to get us out of there...

3 stars because the drinks were good. The food was not though. Pasta was undercooked and the thanksgiving dinner reminded me of a meal you would get in a cafeteria. Definitely would not eat here (or honestly even go here) ever again.

The food and the atmosphere are very good. They do a good job of accommodating food preferences. I'm honestly not sure where they rank in pricing, because my friends and I enjoy gathering there. The service is usually good, but the place can fill up and that can slow things down a bit. For our friend group it's a "place where everybody knows your name"...lol

Went with my girl, we got the pretzels to start, awesome with the cheese. Both got the Daisy Mae chicken and it was incredible. Classic southern fried chicken smothered in gravy. Awesome food, interior was a little dated but the servers were friendly and the food was great and that’s all that matters.

I like to stop in on my way home from work to grab some drinks and sometimes an app, Ashley, one of the bartenders is so sweet and friendly and is the main reason me and my friend stop there. She always has a smile on and is always attentive and that makes good service in my book. Ashley is great as a bartender and makes you feel like she cares about the customers. There should be more like her! Hopefully if you visit the Tavern you get a chance to be waited on by her.

Club Sandwich was okay, not great. Not enough tomato, lettuce, or mayo. Also, where’s the pickle on the side?! It’s a disgrace not to have a pickle with sandwich, ugh! Vegetable side of zucchini was very greasy, unnecessarily so.
