I had a really nice time at Golden Abacus. We eat at it's neighbor, gyro and kebab frequently and I wanted to give it a shot. We were seated promptly and received our food quickly. We both got dinner combos and I really enjoyed the food. My husband and I both thought the amount of food was good value for money. I really enjoyed the food and so did other folks in the dining room. I heard one woman telling the waiter that she comes down from Jamaica plain for it and she'd brought her daughter to try it. Now, that's a rave! I am not sure I'd drive from JP for it but it was solid Chinese food. The parking lot for this set of businesses can be a little intense if it's busy, but it's usually fine. Also there is a psychic next door if you want to spice up your outing.

This Restaurant has the best deals, and also the best food. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and every time I come it’s delicious.

Got a hodge podge of apps, and some fried rice. It was quite good. I met Ping who was bartending and managing the take out. Very nice Lady. Good vibes and tasty Chinese takeout. Mai Tai was pint sized and jet fuel.

The place is so dirty you can literally see dirt cobwebs in the entrance. I can’t imagine what the kitchen look like.

Tasted like the food had sat around for awhile and was dried

It had been a while since I have been here. The experiences were always great. A little hidden gem off of route 1 in Norwood. Restaurant was clean, the locals at the bar were friendly. Ping, the owner was behind the bar. It is family run. She was personable and nice to talk to. I ordered some of my Chinese food staples to check them out. Started with the Hot and Sour Soup. It was old school with a nice flavor and a little kick. The Beef Teriyaki was tender, flavorful and finished off with a delicious glaze. The Wings were nice and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the outside. They were well marinated throughout. A tad salty, but overall solid. The Spareribs were fresh, also moist with a nice flavor. The Egg Roll was more modern with a cabbage filling. They had a nice taste. I am more of a traditional Egg Roll fan that's heavy on celery and pork. The absolute star of the show was the Lobster Sauce. The sauce had a perfect consistency and complex flavors with a nice garlicky taste with a slight sweetness to balance. This dish was amazing! Definitely worth checking out!

Been going here for a few years now, unfortunately the food isn't necessarily the reason I will not be going back. Anytime there's an issue, the woman in the front is always very rude, aggressive and defensive. Mistakes happen, I am very forgiving, especially in the food service industry, It's not a big deal. Sadly she takes it to another level. Her attitude alone has lost them a customer who would spend at least $50 to $60 each order. Unfortunate

Staff and service was great but the food was disappointing. The Mongolian beef didn't taste fresh and had a coating on it that made it mushy. Our first time having crispy pad thai and won't ever order that again. The rice was the smallest portion of rice we've ever had at any Asian restaurant with way too big chunks of pork. Everything else was ok. The bathroom had no hot water! Washing my hands in cold water was a struggle being as it was a little chilly in the restaurant itself and 37 out.

Paid 68$ for spare ribs general tsous chicken order of fried rice crab rangoons lomain and 2 egg rolls. Spare ribs dry and old general chicken was hard lomain was ok fried rice was poor at best crab rangoons should have been called cream cheese rangoons. The staff was very friendly the place looked clean but I ordered take out and I will not return ever place has gone down hill. Usually don't leave reviews but 70 bucks for food that was that bad is warranted. Unless you're going for drinks at the bar I would not recommend. (January 2024)Parking: Tight fit not many spots

The food is quite good here - we greatly enjoyed everything we got! I'm no food critic but I've tried my fair share of Asian restaurants. Props to the staff for working hard on New Years Eve : ) my favorite items were the peking ravioli and the lo

The 3-star is on the higher side of 3 but not quite 4. The service was quick, the staff was friendly (considering the lady had me write down my own order as she left the table to answer a call), the place also appeared clean so no complaints there. The food on the other hand was lacking salt, only slightly flavorful but still ok. They have a bar, and plenty of seating. I myself probably won't be going back but definitely see them as a place where the locals go to.

Food tasted old and rubbery. Staff refused to give more than one chili oil, even when I offered to pay for it, replying "you have enough". Very rude.
