This place is the best authentic Italian restaurant in the area, hands down. You won't find chicken parm on the menu, which is perfect in my opinion. The service is awesome because it's a family business and they all genuinely care. The ambiance reminds me of a typical place you would find in one of the little hill towns in Italy. The chef and owner will accommodate any requests within reason! Love this place!

Fantastic Food and Vibe. Sweetest interior and excellent authentic Italian food. Run to this place - do not walk. You will not be disappointed.

A very warm and a cozy family owned restaurant in Norwood. The decor is slightly dated but the service and the food are top notch. We ordered some calamari, meatballs, salmon entree with potatoes and vegetables and golden beet salad with feta and argula. The food was stupendous. The service was very warm and friendly. Definitely a place to go for some homey Italian food.

Best restaurant in Norwood, hands down, bar none, no exceptions, amazing. The whole family that runs the place is so nice. The food is so amazing - everything on the menu. Please keep making great food, especially with some new special items :) Norwood loves you, Vico!

Rave reviews from us once again. My husband studied in Italy for four years and says this is like a trip back there, the closest to a good Roman restaurant around here (without the North End prices); they recently won "Best Italian Restaurant on the South Shore" (from the Patriot Ledger). Well deserved. They purposely choose to keep the place small, to retain that family atmosphere. Chef Vincenzo in kitchen, wife Maria handling the front of the house, college-aged daughters serving when they are available. All work very hard, but still have time to greet people warmly and make you feel like you are guests in their home. We have been there often, never had a bad meal. Start with the calamari appetizer, or the authentic caponata, or specially chosen and imported prosciutto and cheeses. I love the Pollo Rustico, my husband always chooses the Spaghetti a la Carbonara. Our son says they have a great wine assortment; and we often trust them to choose a magical array of desserts for us- tiramisu is divine, also the limoncello, and the creme brulee ....(I grab this from the platter right away....). Vico is where we always bring visiting guests, (especially old classmates from Italy), and we have had our office Christmas dinner here for the last five years. We have been coming here almost since they opened, and we hope they continue to thrive forever. We love you Vincenzo and Maria, daughters Giuliana and Alessandra, and son Leo (tho Leo has moved on, is only available to pitch in occasionally- we miss you Leo!) I am happy to give Vico the highest accolades.

Amazing quality and prices. Enjoyed Cotoletta Milanese--a fried pork cutlet that was light and tender; topped with a lightly dressed salad of arugula and tomatoes, dressed in lemon. Very satisfying!
