Took a one day excursion to Martha's Vineyard to play at farm neck golf course. It was a perfect day for so many reasons. Everyone was so friendly and nice. The course was in great condition the pace of play was perfect. We were so relaxed we decided to sit at the bar for dinner. There were four of us. We had the best service and the best time Jennifer is fantastic Food was delicious too A perfect one day impromptu vacation. Could not have been at a better club! One small note the rental clubs are not complete sets we were missing a few clubs but in the scheme of things it was manageable .

Some confusion about seating and it was more than 45 minutes before a server came over to ask about drinks. However, our server Maria was pleasant and efficient and really helped ameliorate negative feelings in our party. Food was quite good!

We had an awful experience. As soon as we sat for our 7:30pm reservation our server told us that the staff realized they had only a few reservations that they want to get off work early so they are closing the kitchen.... The kitchen normally closes at 9pm!!! A 1.5 hour early closure and not telling us until we sat down on time for our reservation was so rude!!! We were rushed to order, rushed through the meal, rushed out of the door. The food was not cooked properly but they already closed the kitchen, so we paid over $300 for badly cooked food and a horrible experience because the staff wanted an early night off. It was also our parents 23rd Anniversary and we were celebrating them. It was so sad for all of us to have the celebration dinner happen that way.

The food and drinks were just okay. They rushed out our entrees within minutes of our getting the appetizers. This action caused the meal and dining experience to be disappointing.

The menu is a limited American food menu with an emphasis on sea food. The lobster casserole is worth forgetting- too much claw meat and too little tail meat. The Ritz crackers were burned. The lobster roll was much better with an abundance of meat and a nice buttery sauce. The steak was good done nicely to medium rare. The cod was the group's favorite. Desserts were limited to three choices plus chocolate or coffee ice cream. Our group had all three desserts. The key lime pie was average and a rather small helping. The Irish cream cheese was liked by all three who had it. The cake with toffee was rated above average. While a three star rating is a bit generous, prices are good for Martha's Vineyard in season and there is abundant parking

One of our favorite spots for good comfort food. Decided to go simple with roast chicken and it was probably the best I ever had. Moist and tender and delicious pan sauce, although sauce was slightly too salty. Lovely succotash and mashed potatoes. Wife had Cobb salad with grilled chicken which met expectations. Initially she wanted the lobster casserole, but our server recommended not getting it as other diners had complained of dish coming out soggy and slightly too boozy. Appreciate honesty (said it was being considered to be removed from menu).

Enjoyed being at Farm Neck, food was pretty good, I just had a BLT, rest of party had pastrami sandwiches and muffuletta which they loved! Peaceful, out of the hustle and bustle of OB on first day of August!

Our table was waiting for us. Charming staff, very good food, cost in line with other better restaurants on the Island. Have been coming to the Cafe for years and happy it continues to be a consistent dining experience.

Baby crying next to us. Non-stop. So un-enjoyable. Martini came in a rocks glass. Odd. Had to ask for coasters for the cocktails. They were sticking to the table. Waiter discouraged ordering the seafood casserole . Waiter not forth coming with request to cook the tuna more. The appetizers were good. The chips and dip was generous. Great chips. The dinner food was OK. The dessert was out of this world. Carmel cheesecake. OMG.

It was quite easy to arrange a reservation. We were seated promptly on arrival and given menus. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. But the best part of the experience was the food. It was unpretentiously prepared with just the right serving size. We had an enjoyable, unhurried, evening that satisfied everyone at pour table.

I specifically requested to sit outside on the screened in porch and then confirmed that when I confirmed the reservation. When we arrived, they told us we would be inside or could sit in this area that wasn't in the screened in area. In addition, our server took a while to first greet us, didn't tell us the specials until we asked, and insisted that a Pilsner was an IPA. We used to like this place but the service has gone steadily downhill over the years. The menu has not changed at all, and there are not many low calorie options. The music inside was also quite loud and with slate floors, it echoed all over and made the inside area quite loud.

And it be nice to say that I could recommend this beautiful spot. However, I cannot. From the start the menus were shopworn, frayed edges. The food was mediocre, and very expensive. $300.00 for 4 people and three had salads. The servers were crossing over each of us to remove the plates from the table, and they remove them prematurely a more than few times. Our actual server was very nice professional and attentive, but the rest I would only give one star. Disappointing to be sure.

Farm Neck Cafe offers a beautiful view of a lovely golf course. The menu includes something for every taste, and the food is delicious. The wait staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive. It is such a treat to have a great meal in pretty surroundings, without it being too loud and crowded. The option to eat indoors or outdoors under a very nice tent is an added bonus.

If you golf and are on the Vineyard this is a must do. The holes down with the water are very pretty and the course is in spectacular shape. Recommend very highly!

Best place to eat on the rock. Lunch or dinner. Fantastic venue, gets better every year. And parking! There's a restaurant on the island who's motto is “great food, lousy parking”. At Farm neck both the food and parking are great !
