This place is unbelievable! The food and service is outstanding! It has a speak easy vibe, very nice. Our server, Shannon was on point! She was very attentive and knowledgeable and did not spill one drop of my hot and dirty martini which I very much appreciated. Also one of the best charcuterie boards I have had out in a restaurant- must try and we'll worth it. Bonus- karaoke on Sunday nights at 7, great local crowd.

I love this place. The food is way better than imagined for a bar. Ambiance is great. Bands are good except the noise level is way too loud when the bands are playing. The service is always excellent and the bartenders are attentive and fun.

A cool vibe in the basement restaurant. Good beer choices on tap. Friendly and prompt service. A notch above standard bar food. And karaoke on Sundays if you're into that. Recommended.

We had SO much fun at the 1883 lounge! We've been twice now for karaoke on Sunday nights. The basement lounge has brick walls and string lights, creating a fun casual atmosphere.During both visits, our bartenders were friendly and attentive. Their late night menu downstairs is elevated bar food. We ordered a pizza and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, both of which were yummy!The karaoke creates a welcoming atmosphere, with singers of all skill sets. We had so much fun in the crowd dancing and singing along. This is definitely the most hopping Sunday night around!!!

My wife and I made a reservation, we got there on time, we were seated right away, then proceeded to wait 30 minutes and have absolutely no one try and wait on us. We ended up leaving since they didn't seem interested in us. It wasn't packed, so I'm not sure what the issue was. We weren't tucked away in the corner either.

This hidden gem is in the basement of the Glen Cove hotel. Wonderful bartenders, a cozy very unique vibe and outstanding food & drinks are what will keep patrons coming back for more. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by Christine, the very sweet hostess. I was taken care of so well by both bartenders, Angie & Heather and after a bit at the bar, they had fun karaoke. 100% will be back and can’t wait for the summer! Excellent find 10/10

This is my favorite place for Sunday Brunch, The Bloody Mary is a house specialty. They give you an order form and a pen. Check off exactly what you want. I had the roast beef hash and eggs. The quality of the ingredients is easy to recognize. This place will always be at the top of my list when I visit Onset.
