I just did a take out at Not Your Average Joe's. It was their vegetarian caprese' sandwich, which is suppose to have extra tomatoes and cheese. The hostess told me 15 minutes. A half hour later I asked the same woman about my sandwich. She left and came back 5 minutes later and told me it was waiting for the bread, which would take an additional 10 minutes. I told her I just wanted the sandwich. I saw another person putting bread in the bags and sending them out to the floor. (Which I did not say anything). She came with the sandwich. I live nearby and brought the sandwich home. It was ice cold. Also, take a look at the picture of the sandwich on your website. It does not look anything like what I received. Vegetarian is suppose to have extra cheese and tomatoes. Here is what I received. No tomatoes, very little mozzerella and no aloili or marinated tomato's. With the tip this sad looking sandwich cost me $21. Previously, I went to NYAJ every week. I haven't gone for a while. It has really changed, the service and the food. I will never go there again. Tried to order 3 times through Uber Eats, order got cancelled everytime. Called and asked if they knew what was going on, they didn't. Asked if they could talk to the kitchen to see if they weren't getting orders, person that answered the phone said no. I guess they just don't want your business if you order through Uber Eats.

Our server was excellent but the food was less than average. Chicken picatta was well done, my cousin found a piece of hair on his tray( we didn't say anything) my Cobb salad was super salty with dried out chicken.

All around great dining experience ! The server was fantastic - attentive , personable , professional . The food could not have been better , served up in a timely fashion, delicious and reasonable . The wine was great and not totally overpriced like other places . I could actually hear my husband talking to me without straining over loud music. All for a reasonable price .I can't wait to go back !

I got mustard crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. Beans were salty, potatoes were Luke warm. Butter would not melt on them. Chicken needed gravy. Waiter brought some gravy that tasted more like duck sauce. You couldn't tell if it was chicken, pork or beef gravy but possibly had applesauce in it to make it sweet. All edible but badly served. I’m a delivery driver working for DoorDash, I do so to push myself and my kids forward as an immigrant of this country whilst my English is not perfect it is understandable. I got an order on January 22th, 2024 to Not Your Average Joe’s here in Peabody at the Northshore Mall. I arrived with a friend of African-American descent. Both just wanting to make a quick delivery. Asking the manager who was on shift and at the counter at 6 P.M, how long the order was going to take to get out to the customer. She answered “I don’t know.” Not telling us the time. Others were walking in, listening to a bad attitude in the way she spoke to us they decided not to dine at the restaurant, making a comment on the manager’s attitude. Minutes after waiting the delivery was done and ready to be handed to me. Asking for the customer’s name on the app me and my friend responded accordingly showing the name on the app. She continued to neglect who the order was for. Instead of handing over the bag she threw it on the counter risking the chance of it falling off and spilling. I asked the lady, “Why did you throw it instead of handing it to me?” Immediately the manager grabbed the bag violently and yelled “No more order for you, get out,” “I’m calling security, get out!” On the phone with DoorDash customer support, I could not do anything as I was trying to get the manager’s name. After what felt like an eternity of sitting there I decided to walk out to my car with tears running down my eyes. This was public humiliation to me as I felt weak and targeted. Racial discrimination is a real thing and I’m a victim to it. If there is anyway I can get in contact with management there please let me know. I’m wanting to take legal action for this. I’m an immigrant who is trying for a better life in this country but the emotional and racial abuse could not push me further from continuing. Thank You and goodbye.

Not even sure where to start. Portions were small but the food wasn’t even edible. The kids macaroni with marinara was so gross it tasted burnt. And do not get the buffalo chicken wrap because it’s NOT BUFFALO CHICKEN. It’s a disgusting teriyaki/bbq thing that does not say that on the menu. No wonder there’s no wait, we should’ve waited the 45 mins at the Cheesecake Factory.
