Had dinner tonight at House of Seasoning and WOW it blew us away. The portions are big, the service is attentive and you can tell the food is cooked with passion. Skip the typical average pub grub you find everywhere else in the Berkshires and try something new...you won't regret it!

Seriously -- my all time favorite restaurant in the Berkshires. Don't let the exterior scare you away!!' Inside it is warm, inviting....and the BEST most tasty food around. It's all healthy homemade sauces, fresh as it gets. And hands down the perfect wings of all time. The beef skewers are insane. The green sauce is beyond beyond. Don't know what else I can tell you. I am almost afraid to promote the place cuz I like walking in and getting a table. But this family owned restaurant deserves to be huge!! And the prices are right too! This place is an experience. Cannot wait to back tonight - second night in a row! Update: Came back again and had the fried fish! Best I've ever had. And the plantains - omg!

Never been here before, Ordered cause of reviews and saw them re-building the place before they opened.Had take-out, service was OK.I ordered j*** chicken dinner and wings. I said surprise me for a side, came with fried plantains which were amazing. All the food was great, literally devoured everything. The sauces were delightful - savory red sauce and a creamy horseradish white sauce.The wings were cooked perfectly, normally have to tell places extra crispy cause they're always soggy, these were perfect.Can't remember the last time I've eaten an entire take-out order but this was just plain good.

Absolutely delicious food. I had grilled tilapia with curry sauce and caramelized onions and my husband had tchep au poulet over African spiced rice. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Service was fast and friendly. Do yourself a favor and try this place. We'll return the next time we're in Pittsfield.

Best restaurant in the berkshires. Without question. Excellent take on genuine affrican food. You can really feel the culture when you enter the place. dishes overall are fairly similar to each other. But the seasonings and vegetables are cooked perfectly every time. The owner is extremely friendly and always smiles when we walk in. Highly recommend a try.

This place is so good. We went after reading rave reviews. They were written up in the Times Union and Berkshire Eagle. Food is very interesting and yummy! Atmosphere is relaxed. The owners, Raissa and Mathieu are gracious and warm. My date spoke French with them, which enhanced our experience-but not necessary. I have never had West African food and I am now obsessed! We are so lucky to have this little gem in Pittsfield! Bon apitite!! Go there! Very enjoyable!! We will be going back for the Peanut soup and Fufu!PS We use cash, to honor small business--but not necessary.

The best meal I’ve had in a long time! The braised ribs and plantains were perfect. Everyone’s food was delicious and the owners are very nice. I could put that green sauce that comes on the side on everything three meals a day.
