We had an amazing evening at Jae’s. Wonderful setting, great service and the best sushi in Pittsfield. Check out their 1/2 price sushi specials before 6PM, great deal!

We had the pleasure of dining at Jae's twice in recent months. On both occasions, we were indeed very fortunate to have Brian as our server. Brian was friendly and welcoming, and he made us feel at home due to his positive energy. Food-wise, the highlight of my dinner on the second occasion was the Jae's Special Roll - delicious! We will be back, and we will ask for Brian.

Have been coming here since they re-opened. Food was wonderful, under Chef Ron Reda, then just okay. Service was very slow the last time and it was obvious that things had been cut back - like no Caesar salad prep at your table. This time three had the clay pot and found it fine; I had the grilled salmon which smelled upon presentation. It used to be served with a nice lemon/garlic sauce on top; this had a small tin of cold teriyaki sauce alongside. I tried dipping the salmon into the cold sauce to hide the smell and taste and then gave up, eating the vegetables and rice. Luckily I did not become ill. Sad to say, we’re done.

Loved this place. The chicken wings and bibimbap were awesome. Menu is much like the other Jae's restaurant but this restaurant is a cozy, low light, intimate spot. Really nice and our server was perfect even during a very busy night. We'll be back for sure.

Sushi was not fresh and mostly inedible , very disappointing. Taste the fish before you serve it!

Extremely disappointed that the “new” menu was basically an extension of the other Jaes(which I love) but I wanted something different as I was told when this place opened the food was delicious. The photos here do not represent the food. I had the teriyaki Salmon which was overcooked. Very little veggies on The plate and starch choices were white or brown rice. Go back to original menu and do more advertising. Serve good beer and create a specialty cocktail menu all of the popular places have them.

I guess it is super hard for a restaurant to be in consistent quality.Management is just so not on par with the price anymore. Food quality is like roller coaster ride. You try your luck plz.We did have a good experience first time went there and I gave them 5 out of 5. But now. After another 3 revisits. Me and my friends decided not to come to Jae’s anymore unless significant changes happen.“Been in Berkshire area for about a year now. This is the best steak I have had.Perfectly cooked to what I asked. Flavor was just right on spot. Will go back 200%”

Came for lunch here last Friday as a change from jae's at the Hilton. Terrible road presence, looks closed. Drive around back. Beautiful inside, even though we were alone. Had a great lunch. Like the other Jae's, they have a great bento box lunch special- with different options. Husband had shrimp and scallops, I had bellogi beef. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Portions were large, neither of us could finish. Nice wine list, too. I enjoyed a lively glass of pinot gris. They also have an event room. Recommended.

I ordered the tuna steak, which I've eaten many times, however it was mushy n very cold. Thinking my husband and I won't return.

My husband and 9 month old daughter just dined there and it was really good! We got there at 4 so it wasn't crowded which is perfect for us. I ordered the chop salad to start and he ordered the scallop appetizer, the salad was a nice size I took half home and the scallop app was cooked well. For entrees I got the beef carpaccio appetizer and a side of asparagus and he got the lobster fried rice. Everything was timed perfectly with us finishing our apps and the food was amazing. The fried rice was huge and the carpaccio was good I would just say that the wasabi aioli could've been a little stronger it pretty much tasted like plain mayo. Our server was nice and attentive!

had an amazing dinner tonight i eat out four nights a week but this was my first at Jays. This restaurant has to rate within the top 5 in Berkshire county from the oysters to the scallops and even the crème Brûlé. You need to try this place . A++
