While visiting the Berkshires. I went to the Mission Restaurant. Hopefully this was an off night. It is no longer a tapas bar. The menu was limited which I sometimes like. Our waitress seemed unable to focus on more than one task at a time but she was nice. I ordered a pistachio martini but got a what I think may have been a two ingredient coffee martini. But hey it's vodka so it's all good. I ordered the butternut squash soup, which was the color of oatmeal. The taste could of been creamier but over all a tasty soup on a cold night. My guest order the sweet and spicy cashews. The nuts were basically jarred nuts with spices shaken over them. We envisioned something with a homemade glaze. Moving in, the two entrees we had were the PEI mussels and the chicken penne. Now I have had PEI mussels many times. There were not PEI mussels. They were very small and not flavorful. Normally this dish is served with broth that is at least an inch deep to soak the toasted bread in. I removed all of the mussels, to reveal about 3 tablespoons of broth. I really wanted to enjoy Mission. We were informed that they had a missed delivery. That was the reason why five of the items were unavailable. I hope it was just an off night but I don't think so. I hope you have a better experience.

I write this review as I sit here waiting for my check. I am not a waiter but have been to many restaurants and the amount of confusion between the staff is comical. Everything was a wait or an ask to the server. Hostess was confused and bartender was somewhere. No communication between staff. Food was great service is confused. Maybe keep the greens on the table and not in your body during work.

Went for a 5:30 dinner reservation on a Saturday night~ ordered hanger steak- sorry no hanger steak- ordered roasted root vegetables- sorry no vegetables- ordered chicken- what we received was chopped up chicken like what would be used in a taco! Waiter was pretty much absent throughout the whole meal despite our empty water glasses- My fish and chips was supposed to come with French fries but what I received was chopped up lettuce! What a complete disappointment from beginning to end- save your money and go somewhere else!

Wonderful unique and creative menu. Understated design of the place, but the food and service are just great!

Had drinks here two weeks ago. Great bar tender. Cool place. Although we didn't eat, food looked amazing.

Food was good but service was terrible. I asked if it would be possible to have a small taste of the gazpacho since I can't eat anything spicy. The waiter acted like I was asking for something outrageous. I kept trying and he reluctantly agreed to ask. They did give me a taste and it was fine. I also ordered the grilled ciabatta with butter. It was very dry with a spicy oil on the side. I asked for butter (it was always hard to get the waiter to bring anything- like more water). He eventually brought some orange buttery thing that was very spicy. When I was eventually able to get his attention again I asked if I could get plain butter and he said no. How does a restaurant offer ciabatta with butter and then not have butter? My companions had the pork belly and the chicken piccata and they were good.

Not a huge menu but good selection and quality. Outdoor dining space is on a fairly loud, busy street.

Good dinner before a Barrington theater show. Gluten Free options available, good service. Music on Monday evenings.

Went on a Monday night looking forward to a night of tapas, wine and music, based on the menus we found online. The Dan Broad Trio , jazz and a bit of bassanova did not disappoint. Perfect for enjoying a drink, and company. The restaurant is a cute little spot downtown and has an active clientele. The wine selections were good, and servers were very pleasant, offered suggestions on some of the wines, and attentive without being pushy. Neither of us were really satisfied with the food, except for the bacon wrapped dates, yum! We also ordered fried calamari, not much flavor to them, husband asked for some sauce, and they were able to round some up. The coleslaw that came with the calamari, was bland, watery basically tasted like cabbage and mayo. The cheese board consisted of three slices of burnt ciabatta bread, two large chunks of blue cheese, a home made chutney which was good, a small amount of nuts and three small chunks of a mild soft cheese. Still being a little hungry we order some truffle fries, thinking these were a safe bet, they tasted mostly like regular fries. From the entrees, burgers seemed to be a popular selection.

A decent option in Pittsfield with friendly atmosphere and some limited outdoor seating. Food and drinks were good, not great. Serving sizes are very generous. Service was super friendly and yet inattentive. I had to ask to have our empty appetizer plate taken away after our mains were delivered and to have our empty entree plates taken away. The friendly servers walked by our table many times yet no one ever asked how things were, or if we wanted more drinks, or dessert.

Nice, chill vibe. Food choices were varied with lots of good options. I went with a classic.... an old fashioned. They got it just right. Lots of local people here playing music. I plan on returning to enjoy other artists...and drinks.
