I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere inflate faster than the American economy but Jeff has accomplished just that. Prices have consistently increased every week since he let his entire staff go. Every staff member employed at that time can testify to the verbal abuse from Jeff to his employees and more frequently to his wife. It was only my second day working there when I had to go into the dining area and pull EVERY cup on the tables because I was the only one who could notice the cups were so dirty that you could have made a cup of tea just with the stains in the cup.P.s you can get way better bbq meats overnight shipped from restaurants in Texas for way cheaper$500 for two briskets from Jeff. I got two overnight shipped from Texas for $225 total

We decided to stop by on a whim while running errands in Pittsfield. The Kansas City burnt ends were perfect, the brisket was tender, the cornbread was fresh, heck even the Texas toast was good. You could tell the owners had a real love for the art of barbecue. Bonus points for all the funky and funny art decor. If you're craving barbecue, this place is hard to beat in Western Mass.

we loved how they were knowledgeable with the menu in regards to gluten. all sauces and meats are GF. wings and fries do not contain gluten but they ARE in the fryer with other gluten items.
the food took slightly longer but it was absolutely amazing. worth the wait for fresh, home cooking. it was the early part of a Saturday night and by the time we left, the line was very long. worth the wait for everyone, i'm sure!
between all four of us, we had a little bit of everything.... 1/2 chicken, pulled pork, St Louis ribs, chicken tenders. wings (some mild buffalo and some with honey maple. the honey maple was unique and amazing),
sides: fresh cut fries, corn bread, potato salad, coleslaw, peach baked beans.
everything was delicious. we were starving (hence the amount of food we ordered!) we came in from a day of hiking and this was perfect.
the people are super nice. met Old Man Jeff's wife. she was nice and was not bothered by all the questions we had.

Do not miss Old Man Jeff’s! Everything here was absolutely phenomenal - pulled pork and chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, cornbread, sausage, wings, potato salad. Everything was so delicious — some of the best BBQ we’ve had anywhere. We came here after a day of skiing with six kids and this was a perfect spot for a casual, tasty and easy dinner after a day on the slopes. The owners were so warm and lovely - we can’t wait to come back next time we’re up in the Berkshires!
