We have passed by this place a number of times and never went in. I will not pass it again. first off the beet salad and Caesar salad were wonderful. Very fresh, unique with the salad having pistachios, and the Caesar salad having these great flat croutons. Very tasty.. we ordered the margarita pizza as it was good Friday. This was exceptional with a very crispy thin crust. They had a special on a German chocolate cake which we decided to share. This was exceptional. I hope they put this on the menu as a regular. The coconut was enhanced with sea salt and caramel which made it extra special. The staff was very attentive, the atmosphere is kind of special. A mix between art deco, and 60s vibe. Very unique. Don’t pass by this place.

There are way too many places like this on the south shore. Places dressing themselves up as high class. It's overpriced, bland food. Not going back.

We don't usually go out for Italian but Leena's is the exception. Food is fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced. Mushroom Campanelle has so much umami flavor. And love being able to order a scoop of gelato for dessert ;)

WOW, Awesome dinner! First time eating here...should have started years ago! We shared the mushroom arancini balls and split a huge chicken parm dinner. Both were some of the best we've had. The bread is also amazing. Great drink selection. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Our second time here drove from Rhode Island. The spot is absolutely incredible. Pizzas spot on chef makes his pasta fresh every day request. A must try are the Italian grinder bao buns you will never find these anywhere else. Don’t be afraid to drive an hour to come to his place. Absolutely incredible. Chef Max is the bomb.

I was excited to try this place. It had good reviews and is close to me. Unfortunately, I had the worse experience in my life just trying to actually get my food from here. My friend was kind enough to offer to send me a hot meal because I had COVID and she lives too far to bring it to me herself. After my friend ordered the food online, I received a phone call from the restaurant that they had cancelled said order because it was "too early". I called them back telling that that my friend requested the order for 4pm which is the beginning of their takeout order time. Don't cancel my food order, my friend is at work and I will be out a hot meal. Ashley stated that it was a problem in the system and that the order was still there and they didn't cancel it pending my call back. Ok, so I think the food is supposed to be still ordered. Ashley calls me back later and then says it should be heading to my place in about 10 minutes. Great! I'm excited to try the pizza. After waiting for about another 45 mins, I see a message from the delivery service that, yes the order was cancelled. I call the restaurant again. Now I'm told, yes the food is still here. So they completely dropped the ball and didn't send the food and if I didn't call again (phone call #3) the food would still be there. I said well now the food must be cold since it's been sitting there for almost an hour. Ashley said, oh it's on the oven and I'll find someone to bring it to you. A young gentleman later brought me my cold pizza. Wow, I am shocked at the nerve to bring me cold food that my friend paid full price for hours before. No consideration of actually getting it to me let alone warm. No apology, no thought to remake the food or comp the order. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will NEVER order from this place nor walk thru their doors ever again. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: your employee, Ashley called me and left a voicemail that she was canceling my order because it was too early and the restaurant wasn't ready for it and I would have to reorder. YOUR employee canceled the order. I HAVE THE VOICEMAIL and the order was cancelled by her at that time. When I called back within minutes to ask her to not cancel, she then backtracked and blamed the system, and said she didn't cancel the order, a LIE. Then later she called and said the food was coming in 10 mins. Then another 45 missed passed no phone, no follow-up. My friend placed the order on YOUR website. YOUR employee cancelled the order. YOUR establishment made a huge mistake and then sent out cold food and you're still not apologizing. Amazing.

Service was outstanding as were the appetizers (pesto mussels, mushroom arancini). Bolognese and pasta with mushroom, fontina cream sauce both also really delicious. Carbonara was missing something - perhaps salt and/or pecorino Romano/Parmesan. Pasta cooked perfectly for all 3 dishes and drinks were great. We will be back!

Let's begin by saying Leena's never disappoints. Kale pesto w lobster risotto was a Valentine's special, & indeed it was. For non kale lovers, substitute spinach as the adjective for the pesto, as the kale was not overpowering. The risotto was cooked perfectly, & the chef had a light hand with the garlic, not often successfully accomplished at restaurants with an emphasis on Italian. A thin sprinkle of fine breadcrumbs over the risotto provided a landing place for the tender, succulent, generously sized lobster pieces. Once plated, the lobster dotted the risotto, & the verdant color of risotto with the indistinguishable pinkish white of the seafood was eye candy for this diner. Portions are a guarantee you will be having leftovers to take home. Classics are the staple of Leena's menu, and their Tomato Cream Rigatoni has the right balance of red sauce with cream, tossed in their kitchen and presented in a generous oversized wide rimmed soup bowl. The Pecorino Romano lends a more subtle choice over Parmigiano for my taste. Leena's Caesar salad is a meal in itself, and was served with heaping amounts of Parmigiano shards & two wafer thin bread crisps. Not your mother's croutons. The salad could have been shared by two diners easily. The Focaccia Genoese is served warm, with the rosemary & thyme topping begging to be dipped in the balsamic infused olive oil. I am not aware of the brand of coffee Leena's serves, but my discerning tastebuds lean towards a very good Italian Roast. We did not partake from the Dessert menu, but in the past, we have raved over the Pistachio crusted chocolate ganache & their Peanut butter with again, chocolate ganache. The waitstaff have either been poached from high end in town restaurants, or the management team has a Server Bootcamp all employees must earn a degree in Hospitality, Attentiveness, w undergraduate studies in being Cordial. This is observed from the front of the house to your table server. Julia is a standout!

Great food and service! It's off the path in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The mussels were a favorite app. The bread pudding dessert is a must!

Food is consistently very good, no matter what you order. We had focaccia bread and Brussels sprouts apps which were delicious. Entrees were chicken parm and carrot risotto. They had a nice Italian wine on special which was very good too. Service is non rushed which worked for us. Tye server was great, just busy.

The space was amazing. The service was excellent from the minute we walked in. From the hostess to our waitress. The food was bursting with flavor and such creative dishes. Chef Max is a genius!
