This place is awesome. Clam shack that meets expectations for fried food - plus lobster roll and chowder. It's a small spot that gets very busy so turnaround can take a bit but it's an enjoyable wait having drinks on the beach.

Great fried seafood. One of the few places smart enough to have fried oysters. Friendly staff and a great location. Will be going back.

I love coming to Sandy's! While it is the only true beach side bar in the south shore area I have found, the atmosphere and great drinks haven't got me searching for any others. Highly recommend!

Located south of downtown Plymouth and along the beach is a popular seafood shack, Sandy's!!!!! Popular with locals and tourists, this place is always great, especially when you've got a great oceanfront view. For food we order their Lobster roll and fried clam strips, both were delicious. For drinks I opted for their Mayflower brew and the wife had their popular cocktail the Plymouth Punch. Overall service was great and ambiance was awesome

We ordered scallops and salmon. Salmon perfect and a nice large piece. Scallops a bit undercooked. The only criticism is the portion of rice was very small..almost half portion size..should be larger considering dinners were 19.99 and 26.99.. it wasvery enjoyable to dine out on the beach last night.

Top 10 french fries I've had in my life. They actually taste like potatoes and are perfectly cooked. The fried clams were quite good too.

THIS is what a New England clam shack should be. Reasonably-priced, lightning-fast takeout, and folks who know how to prepare fresh seafood. As a native Mainer, i have pretty high standards for seafood. Sandy's cooks know how to fry a clam AND a scallop. And if you know fried seafood, you know that it is not as easy as you might think, particularly at high volume. But they nailed it. The clams were small, sweet, and cooked perfectly. The scallops were even better. Portions were generous, everything was piping hot, and the staff, despite being ridiculously busy, was friendly, engaging, and quick to provide anything we needed. If you're in Plymouth, don't miss this gem. Well done, folks! We'll be back!!!

My husband and I come to Sandy's a few times each summer. We love their lobster salad, clams and grilled swordfish, and also their Fiddlehead on tap. This review is mostly for staff member Jeannie. We visited Sandy's with my parents 7/23 to celebrate their 59th anniversary. At first we had trouble getting onto Long Beach but once we did, Jeannie ensured a wonderful visit. My mom uses a walker and Jeannie took excellent care of her from start to finish. Her demeanor was so genuine, kind, and attentive, she really helped us feel welcome! Thanks Jeannie, we appreciate you!

Good place to grab some shade and a drink at the bar. Didn't wait long for food even though it was really busy. Friendly staff.
