Try the Chowder. Chef gave to us complimentary. Was amazing. From Florida the scallops are way better here.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly waitress, super friendly owner. Even gave my bike club extra order of fries to help us get enough energy to ride back to Boston. Love the place, love the atmosphere, lovely location.

It is what is is. A small quaint bar for locals and out of towners. Good food and plenty of drinks to choose from. Great place to become a regular and just relax inside or out.

Great local restaurant and great deal. WALK TO THE EAST END OF THE RESTAURANT. During a weekday, the other doors were locked. We lucked out and came on 50 cent wing day. Shanty rub is the best choice for wings. They get the skin on the wings perfectly crispy. Awesome place to come from a boat, as you can see the docks. Staff was wonderful.

We did not order food here. We stopped in to get a drink and a juice for our child. The wait staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place.

Stopped by on our walk to see the harbor. Pet friendly with outdoor seating. Waitress was kind enough to bring our pup some water while we ate! We had clam chowder and Buffalo strips, both delicious.

Stopped here after a fishing trip for lunch. Definitely better than expected. Had the fish sandwiches and fish and chips. Everything was so good we ate there again a few days later.

Fun spot to hang with friends. Lots of local people and after a few drinks they also considered you local.

I have been told countless times to try the lobster roll here, and we finally had a chance this summer. It was a scorcher that day so we sat inside on a barstool. Service was pretty quick. Pleasant. Obviously a place chock full of locals. I ordered a cold lobster roll, but was served a hot one. There wasn't really a chance to speak up because I was floored by the one that was served to me. You can see in the picture, it's just really sad, and really small. $30 for 3 rubbery bites of lobster! I'd hit this place up again for drinks and a hot dog, but I guess I was a fool to try the lobster!

Stumbled, dehydrated, off of a successful morning whale watch into The Shanty. Classic bar-on-a-pier with a unhurried but efficient waiter/bartender serving huge fried fish sandwiches, good beer and lots of tequila shots. Thumbs up would rehydrate there again.

I drove from Asheville, NC up to Plymouth area for a funeral. Sad stuff, normally. We got to enjoy the area my wife's "Yiayia" grew up. One random day after stopping by the hilariously underwhelming Rock, we swung by here for lunch. Prices were amazing. Oysters and clams were on-point. Best local, fresh, seafood I've had. If I'm ever back, I'll be there.
