We went there for an anniversay dinner, new to the area. We were looking for place with a nice atmosphere, above averge service and food. We did not know what to expect, but this place hit the mark on all three. Located in the Mirbeau Inn and Spa, the setting is a French Country Manor, elegantly decorated and quiet so you can have a conversation without loud noise or TV distractions. The host knew it was our anniversary and sat us at the best table in the house, directly in front of the fireplace. Upon being seated, we were promptly greeded by our server, presenting rhe menus along with an extensive wine list. High end cocktails, (even mocktails) and a good craft beer selection got us going. If you have ever been offered bread at a restuarant, it does not compare to the outstanding hot popovers with butter and honey brought to us while browsing the menu. The menu is French themed, with soups, apps, salads, and entrees, all with sides worthy of the high end experience we were looking for. The menu is not large, but has everything you would need for an intimate dinner. We started with a crock of onion soup, well executed and right out of the oven. For meal I had the filet mignon, my wife had the lobster raviolis from the appetizer menu upsized to an entree portion. The filet was a perfect medium rare as ordered, well seared and seasoned with a great brandy sauce. The lobster raviolis were obviously hand made very large and full of lobster, with a delicate sauce that was not too thick or thin. Price is on the high end, but worth every penny as both were the best we have had in a very long time. We reviewed the dessert menu but were full after the satisfying entrees. The server also commented on our anniversary and brought over a complimentary desert of chocolate and macarrons. A perfect conclusion to our experience.

I was disappointed. Rather expensive for pizza. I suppose it's really for the business meeting type clientele.

After a visit to Mirbeau Hotel / Spa & The Bistro all I can say is this place does not value their customers. They simply deny a theft happened, refusing to investigate their own staff / and deny there are any security cameras in the building. All the managers and owners do is blame the victim. BEWARE, if you are a guest visiting the hotel / spa or restaurant, and something goes wrong - do not expect to be respected or valued as a customer. Management keeps questionable staff and just deny instead of investigate - so next time you go there, just remember - that staff member that stole my wedding rings might be the one giving you a massage / or working the front desk or cleaning the room you are in. To Patty: FYI - The Police Department did investigate after I called them to come there the next morning. And, as you are aware - since YOU told them at that time that Mirbeau does not have security cameras to protect the customers OR the employees. Without video they could not do anything without PROOF of a theft. Proof that might have been available to them had your company cooperated instead of instantly assuming & accusing your customer of simply "losing" the wedding rings! My wedding rings were stolen at your property - I hope this happens to you some day as well, then you might rethink your response. Having my wedding rings stolen in heartbreaking to say the least. Being disregarded is completely inexcusable! I will say the service in the bistro was great, for both lunch and dinner. For the staff that works there that are hardworking, kind & honest - I am sorry that some bad person is within your place of employment. Someone has to know something. I am offering a $1000 reward for information - and I will pay $3500 for the return of my rings. Please contact the police or contact me directly.

I reserved online but when we arrived there was no record of our reservation in the system inspite of the fact that I received several confirmation notifications. We were seated inspite of the issue thankfully.

For some reason, the Mirbeau has never managed to figure out that customer service is essential to a good dining experience. Consistently good food is equally important. The bistro is weak in both aspects. On the plus side, the scallops were delicious. On the negative side, the popovers were leaden, and the other dishes ho-hum. It didn’t help that one of the menus was covered in greasy sauce, which left one of our guests with a surprise stain. Our waitress was really helpful but overworked. If there were the first time the restaurant proved disappointing, i would give it a pass. However, I have never eaten there when everyone at the table enjoyed a great meal.

Dining at the Mirbeau is always a mixed bag. Some items, like the scallops, are artfully prepared. Others, like the popovers are simply dreadful. If the weather is nice, dining overlooking the pond can be a nice way to end the day.

Food was great, we had the corn soup and scallops and tuna entrees…what stood out was the service. Our check said Cmontes, she was so sweet and wonderful. We loved her, also the bussers were so accommodating and incredibly professional. I highly recommend this place for the staff alone.

So, I've read the reviews and, frankly, I am stunned by the less-than-100%-happy ones. We sat on the deck amidst some of the most gorgeous landscaping we've seen. The setting alone could have satisfied us. Just SO beautiful. Service was absolutely splendid. Our server, Savannah, could not more poised, polished, professional, good-humored, and knowledgeable. The wine list was adequate and the prices were not through the roof, but did make it up to the downspouts! The meal began when we received the complimentary popovers. Maybe the best popovers I've ever had, or at least tied for the number-one spot. "What happens," I asked, "if a patron wants more popovers?" "We bring them," Savannah said, adding, "You want more?" I did, but I knew that self-indulgence would hamper my ability to eat the rest of my order. My wife started with baked oysters, which she merely rated as "the best I've ever in my life had." I could say the same about the frito misto, and both apps were presented beautifully. For a main, I had the tuna, and it was cooked and presented perfectly. My wife had the lamb and adored every bite. But neither of us could have been inducted into the clean -plate club; both mains were huge . . . and what was left made it home! A bit of Armagnac for dessert and -- voila -- the perfect night out. We'll be back next year.

Beautiful atmosphere in the Mirbeau Inn and Spa. We had dining credit with our spa overnight so came here to celebrate 2 50th birthdays. We were not let down. Our meals were OUTSTANDING, drinks were delicious and service was impeccable. Couldn't have had a better dining experience! Thank you!

-Awesome night , as always!! -staff, food, ambiance were great. A rare night out, so their Respect for Covid -19 exceeded expectations, which helped us enjoy the evening with another couple even more.... our waitress did a GREAT job!! Patronize places like this to help them during the virus .

I have lived in Pinehills for over three years. I have never been here before. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely and the service was great. We were there early for breakfast and stuck with water to start. We lingered over the menu and finally ordered. Our breakfast was served in a reasonable time and we decided to order mimosas since the bar was now open. Everything that we had was great. It was a very pleasant experience. I will be back with my husband,

Service was horrible. We waited 1/2 hour before anyone even looked at us after we were seated and then only because we flagged someone down. Then it was a very long wait for drinks and then dinner. We were there 1 1/2 hours and only had drinks and an entree which were all ordered when we finally had a server take our order. The food was acceptable but there are lots of places where the food is just as expensive but so much better tasting. The chicken was dry as a moth. No flavor at all. The seafood was ok but not spectacular. There was entertainment that was good. Due to the service and lack of remarkable food, we will not return.

Did patio dining last night at the Bistro & Wine Bar. Service was very nice and the setting outside was nice. Food was very good but they still have such a limited entre list (nine items) that was hard to find something I liked. Looked like 2-3 items had been removed and there are also no specials. Wine pour is still small and now you have to make sure you have smart phone with you to scan the wine list. As I reported on my last review, if this restaurant could fix a few of their re-ocurring issues, they would be a real big winner.

My family and I enjoyed a lovely evening here last night. Our server, Deirdre, was so pleasant, fun and attentive. Service was quick and the food was incredible. The potato crusted salmon was the best salmon I’ve had in a whileeeee and the sauce was out for this world. There was also a GREAT performer playing all the classics. My parents are coming back Wednesday to hear him play again and enjoy another great meal. I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends for sure.
