I loved the atmosphere of Jimmy's Hideaway. The bartender recommended the perfect local beer for my taste - Cape Cod Blonde. Wonderful staff! Even got to meet the owner. I had the Fried Shrimp Platter. The shrimp were fresh, lightly breaded, and cooked perfectly - would definitely order again. It came with a unique house-made coleslaw that I devoured. The slaw definitely had onions... I think I tasted apples, as well. My wife had the Lobster Carbonara special. She loved the flavor, but said there was too much lobster?? I highly recommend!

Do not bother going here. The owner lets you have a drink and then tells you to leave because you do not have a reservation. Empty tabletops everywhere early in the evening. Saving spots for his friends and regulars which is fine, but put it as part of your policy so others can walk on by. Name it Jimmy's friends.

The scallops were fishy we gave them back and we got a crab cake. The crab cake was fried grease and mush in the middle. The baked stuffed shrimp was amazing and the beet salad was amazing. They changed ownership- I don’t know if this has something to do with it. Someone needs to be tasting the food before it goes out. It wasn’t just bad, the scallops and crab cake were abysmal.

This place is fabulous! Excellent food and a nice menu. It was very cozy and the staff is so very friendly. The Portugese Cod was so incredibly delicious. We loved it's "hideaway" location and we will be back the next time we are in PTown!
Fantastic. Halloween weekend so very crowded. We managed to have a table for 2....Debbie our waitress was super kind and attentive ?Lobster pasta was huge and really yummy.

Triple threat, food, service and ambience are all spectacular. Well made cocktails followed by perfectly grilled oysters and rich creamy lobster carbonara, Debbie, our service, was great and happy to offer suggestions when asked. The place has a cozy welcoming feel that should not be missed.

I had booked a dinner for 7 people at 7pm on Friday during LD holiday. We were seated right away in the front section of the restaurant. Our waiter was prompt, professional, and on top of everything. Everything came seamlessly and perfectly. Our drinks were great and the food delicious. We all left happy and satisfied. This place is always on our Ptown restaurant rotation and it never disappoints!
