This is a no frill local spot with good apps (try the various eggrolls), decent prices, a good beer selection, touchtunes juke box, and pub trivia. There is also parking in a lot next door behind 7/11. It's a local institution that is consistent and doesn't disappoint.

Excellent venue for your event. Very welcoming and front-given services. Having an "exclusive" location with a cash bar available and plenty of seating is a go-to place to select for any type of gathering.

Well, we decided to give Cagney's another try. What a mistake!!!! Things started ok, we ordered a couple of drinks. Carol was actually pleasant. She came back over to us and asked if we wanted to order food. I said, I'll have the guacamole & hummus platter and the buffalo wontons. She walked away and my bf didn't even get a chance to order anything. We just said let's eat what I ordered and then we'll order dinner. We ordered another round of drinks. And kept waiting for our food. Another couple came in and sat to the left of us. Carol for them their drinks and took their food order. Well, don't you know that their food came out. I see Carol reach into her pocket and pull outa piece of paper she looks at, goes to the pos and is checking it. I knew right away it was our order. She quickly realizes that she hadn't put it in. She then comes over to us with 2 plates & silverware and says to me "you ordered the guacamole " I stopped her right there and said we don't want it anymore since we had ordered our food over 1/2 hour ago and the people next to us had received their food. I'll just take our tab. She came back over to us with our check and says "it wasn't intentional". I've seen her treat customers like crap. How is she still employed there! I wouldn't recommend going there unless you want to be treated like shit and possibly even be reprimanded at for putting your keno and money on the bar vs walking it over to the machine. But if you're a regular or someone that she likes, she'll allow that. I can't be the only one that's noticed her rude behavior. Why management hasn't done something about her is beyond me! Shame on you!

Stopped in for my first visit on the holiday weekend. A Friday afternoon that was slow because of the holiday weekend. I started with the Sam Adams Summer while I checked out the menu. I love the "Sliders" at the Fours in Quincy so I wanted to make a comparison. It wasn't even close. The Fours is very good but Cagney's is Amazing. Every bite was better than the last. The best part was I thought this would be an appetizer but it ended up being my Dinner. For my dessert I went for the Maine Breweries flagship Brew, "Maine Lunch" . Once you drink this beer it is hard to try anything else. Cagney's is one of the best options to dine in or to hang out with friends.

Food was not good. Not fresh, no taste just taken from the freezer and dumped in a fryer. Bartender does not know how to pour a beer ? $8 for a draft and the glass is 1/4
