Ordered a steak tip dinner her a week ago, steak tips were RAW and subsequently had raw meat juices and teriyaki sauce mixed completely through the salad. NOT TO MENTION THE HAIR IN THE FOOD. Totally DISGUSTED. NEVER AGAIN..

Exactly what you'd expect from an Irish Pub. Fresh Guinness and local brew on tap. The warm, soft pretzel definitely exceeded expectations. Shepard's pie and wings were terrific too. This place is worth the detour.

This is a quintessential and solid neighborhood dive bar. It was my first time here as I was meeting a friend who lives nearby. We went for dinner and their version of "Family Feud "trivia. Entering Cronin's is a bit like stepping back in time to a simpler era. It felt comfortable. There were lots of regulars at the bar. They have a simple food menu and a good beer selection. Prices are pretty reasonable, although we felt that the steak tips (for which they are apparently known) were pricey {$24.} for what you got and weren't anything special. However, the steak fries that came with it were excellent -- nice and crispy. No veggie came with the tips. We also had the Buffalo wings as an app and they were surprisingly good. A slice of chocolate cake for dessert was respectable. I'd definitely go again on a trivia night when visiting a friend, but would not make a special trip.

While Cronins can be characterized as a "dive bar", it is a great place to grab some very good food for a very reasonable price! This last visit we had an order of chicken wings and stuffed clams for appetizers and then shared a bar pizza. All were very well done. In the past we have had the steak tips, shepherds pie as well as other specials.

Those Steak Tips We have been going to Cronin's for many years now and have never been disappointed with their good food, neighborhood atmosphere, cold adult beverages, friendly staff. The steak & chicken tips are worth the ride themselves. We were there recently with out-of-town family who had been there with us on a prior occasion a couple of years ago and, because they had enjoyed that visit so much it was their choice to go there again. The wing dings are a treat that we have over & over. We have never had a bad experience at Cronin's. Remember, it's a great neighborhood place with great food be patient with the wait staff as they tend the bar as well. Thanks

Came looking for steak tips. We were not disappointed. Also great buffalo wings (50c each when Patriots play) and AMAZING Shephard’s Pie that we split among two hungry kids.Definitely will come back next time we are in Quincy!Kid-friendliness: Big bar up front almost waved us off for lunch with kids, but we found the restaurant tables in back and our girls LOVED the Shephard’s Pie! At least at lunch time, good for kids to eat too.

My favourite dive bar in the greater Boston area. Bartenders and servers are awesome, and the food is great and reasonably priced. It's always a fun night at cronins. Love this bar!

Great pub with friendly service. Cannot fight the double lobster special for $34.99! Delicious! Comes with corn and potatoes too. My friend have the beef tips and they were great too!

A local bar with a great kitchen. We tried an assortment of foods, steamed clams, hot pastrami, chicken fingers and chicken wings and all were done perfectly.The crowning achievement however was the twin lobsters with home fries and corn on the cob for $35.We will definitely be back!
