“Pleasantly surprised! We came here on a Saturday for lunch and ordered plenty of dishes which we all enjoyed. We tried the string beans, spicy fish filets, Shanghai noodles, fried rice and smoked duck. The Shanghai noodles were more of a crispy chow mein than the thicker noodle I was expecting, but it was still yummy! Service was nice and attentive as well. Unassuming on the outside, but great taste and big portions.“
“We were very surprised to find that this place had excellent food, we had the salmon teriyaki and the bento shrimp and beef, big portions of proteins and veggies, well cooked and well seasoned. Good service, the guys very friendly, fast and easy, not pricey at all, another surprise, we had a good lunch. It's located in a busy small plaza, and the parking lot is kind of small, lots of cars coming in and out, other than this, it's a good place to eat if you are in the area.“
“Good value bento and sushi rolls.So far I’ve tried their salmon bento, beef shrimp bento, and some sushi rolls. The quality was exactly what I expected from a value bento box. Salmon and beef were a tad dry, but the teriyaki seasoning elevated the flavors. The real surprise was the quality of the sushi rolls, which were unexpectedly good, rivaling or even surpassing pricier options like those at Whole Foods. Both the Salmon Avocado Roll and the Eel Avocado Roll were generously filled, making them a steal at their price point. Overall, a worthwhile visit for budget-friendly Japanese fare.“
“Tori Japan is one of the more affordable eats around the area! Their bento boxes are under $15 and come with California rolls, fried gyoza, rice, vegetables, and your choice of protein. It's not a fancy place, but it is perfect for students and food comes out fast! Service was excellent. I feel like I'll probably end up eating here a lot for lunch!“
