The interior was nice and the waitress was friendly. However I was very disappointed in the food.I ordered a simple quesadilla...It was extremely small, and had only cheese and very oily ground beef. The oil was dripping out of it onto my plate. It had no lettuce, tomatoes, salsa or anything else that comes on quesadillas. Unfortunately it was also cold and not toasted at all, as if it was heated in a microwave. Being toasted is a defining feature of a quesadilla. The rice and beans were cold and flavorless. Very disappointed to spend twenty dollars on one soda and this one food item that I did not enjoy.

Last night we went to a Mexican restaurant because it was 5 de mayo. The restaurant is Santa Madre in randolph. My first turnoff was getting margaritas in plastic cups. We are not in a pandemic anymore so plastic is inexcusable. The manager said they don't have enough glassware for the whole restaurant so if you don't sit at the bar you can't get any margarita in a glass. The next thing was the quality of food. I ordered mine a certain way and had to have it sent back and then the food came out cold and my kids chicken and rice wasn't even seasoned so she barely ate any of it. The tortillas for the fajitas weren't even warm they were cold along with the refried beans which were also cold. The consistency in the kitchen was terrible although the atmosphere was nice and our server was pleasant and did her job well. They should have been better prepared for a big Mexican holiday like that. For a new establishment they did not make a good impression on me and others I'm sure. I would not recommend eating at this restaurant......

This place is decorated well, and I had a great coconut margarita. But.. The food was extremely disappointing and underwhelming. My carne asada came with no seasoning and was a very thin, fatty piece of meat. The tostadas were pretty bland as well. We only had a couple bites of our food, and then lost our appetites.

I feel the only word I can describe this restaurant is a vibe. The entrance welcomes you with a beautiful flower wall, and a modern-esque dining area. As far as the service goes, our waitress was not only friendly but patient and understanding when it came to splitting our cards. The food (which expanded my stomach a few inches wider) was absolutely delicious. Near all of the members of our party were in a food coma! Most other restaurants in the area feel lackluster in comparison; Santa Madre is on our list now! We will come back again :)

First off there is more than ample parking and the building is in a very accessible location. Once you step into the restaurant you get very cool, hip, cultural vibes. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are beyond amazing. I had a prickly pear margarita that was what I could only describe as foreplay in my mouth. Tease of sweetness and sultry all at once. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Definitely top quality ingredients used with exceptional flavors and great presentation. The service was top notch. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Definitely recommend and will be coming back often.

I know they opened recently so I'm cutting them some slack, but the service was an absolute disaster. All of it could have been avoided if the waitress just wrote our order down instead of trying to memorize it. And then not gaslighting us by telling us we didn't order what we did. The attitude was unnecessary. We waited 45 minutes for an appetizer that never came because the waitress forgot about it and then told us we never ordered it. Got a hold of the manager who took care of it. Then the entrees were completely wrong. Ordered Fajitas but got enchiladas and to add insult to injury, it had bacon, after repeatedly saying we don't eat pork/bacon. The waiter who brought them out didn't speak any English so he took them back and no one came out to ask why. We just sat there waiting some more and wondering what was going on. Again got a hold of the manager who eventually fixed it. He ended up taking a couple of things off the bill. The food was ok. I filled up on chips & salsa, so I lost my appetite while waiting forever for our actual order. I expected more flavor. The queso and salsa were pretty good. The chips were meh. On a positive note, the ambiance was nice and parking is easy. Management - please do yourselves a favor and have the waiters write down the orders. They're not impressing customers by trying to remember everything.

I love this new spot in Randolph, a real authentic Mexican restaurant. The drinks and food are fantastic. The service is terrific. Andrea is the best. She was so attentive and flexible. I am usually the wrong person because I think the service is better, but Andrea showed me different. Shout to Seth as well, one of the partners.

This is the third time we have been there for dinner. We had the guacamole which was the best ever to start. My husband had the enchilada de mole and I had the chimichanga. The food is so fresh and delicious! Our waiter Randy was fantastic! Everyone is so nice and friendly. The place is beautiful. This is our new go to restaurant in town.
I decided to try Santa Madre the other day for lunch & Andria took very good care of us, she made awesome margaritas & and the food was great! Highly recommend I’ll be back again!
