Woof. Where to even start.We decided to try this place after driving by a bunch of times. Menu looked great and good selection of beers on draft.I can confidently say this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Our waiter (and I use that term very loosely) had the personality of a piece of driftwood, and moved at about the same speed. It took over 35 minutes to get the beer I ordered, after having to ask him about it multiple times. When the appetizers came, he asked if we needed plates. What do you think pal?45 minutes after ordering food and 20 minutes after ordering a second beer (and having received neither), we had enough. We weren't the only ones. Another table that had already finished eating when we got there were STILL waiting for their check! A table that got seated shortly after we got there had JUST gotten their drinks when we were packing up. And they were just as unhappy.We asked for the check and to get our food to go. It was then we found out that the our waiter never put in my wife or youngest kids food...just mine and my oldest. At that point we told the bartender/manager to just tell us what we owed for the apps and we were out of there. He comped everything, which I feel was the least he could do.If this nonsense happens even occasionally, I am shocked that this place is still in business after all this time. Which is a shame because the food was good, but not worth the effort.

There's a very kind chef working here. I believe his name was Jameoson or Josh or something. I usually go out to eat with my son as I am severely vision impaired and I have anaphylactic allergies that I need to watch out for. My son was not with me that day, so I went out to eat alone. I was having a lot of trouble deciphering the menu and when I saw this gentleman I asked him for some help to read the menu. You spent a good 10 to 15 minutes with me reading off the menu to me and explaining the various dishes that you offer. Once we decided on a pizza, he got my order sent in and personally made it for me. Also picked a nice bar drink as well. I love Chardonnay! It was absolutely delicious. After my meal I asked for him to come see me and I tried to give him a nice tip for all of his help. He turned down the tip and told me he was just happy to help me out. It was truly amazing service. Thank you chef for helping out an old man such as myself. I'll definitely be back to get another pizza thanks to his service.?????

Josh cooked me an amazing meal. As long as he's cooking here I will continue to bring my rugby team here after every game! The consistency and quality of food here has gone up very significantly!

The waitress at the door said we can choose our own seating which I lovedThen she gave us a tablet to look at the menu I prefer a material menu it is what it isThe drink choices were the best I've ever seen and I order a coconut cream pie martini and it was delicious I had to order another I didn't order an appetizer just straight to dinner entrée I decided on the rib eye with a glaze and Asiago cheese cooked the way that I asked which was a medium Basmati rice which was seasoned just right and the green beans tasted excellent it was cooked to perfection the atmosphere was relaxing no stress the waitress made sure we were set and I am very pleased and will be returning again with more customers

Been here many times without issue but this time was horrible. Server was spending more time sitting at a table talking than anything else. Drinks weren’t made correctly and I was told there was no hollindaise sauce for my Irish Benny burger. Ok fine no biggie then it comes with no egg either and canned hash!! When we informed the waitress we got $2 taken off billl…. Not sure what changed here but Probably won’t be back

the fishermans platter is awesome, i think this might be the 3rd time i have had it here. great food, i highly recommend it.
It used to be a favorite place but had numerous bad experiences with the cook who seemed to always be walking around the bar area and saying very rude things to customers. Won't be back.

Even beyond 5 dollar burgers on Tuesdays, this place is a great value. Their prices are reasonable in today's restaurant culture. The food is always good. They've got some fun menu items along with comfort foods standbys. The wait staff is kind, attentive, and personable. They have fun game nights - music & trivia. Great neighborhood place to hang out for the evening.

If you haven't tried breakfast at Slap Shotz yet, you're missing out on some delicious food! I had a corned beef hash and cheese omelet with hollandaise sauce. Went with the beans instead of home fries and it was so good. Amy is an amazing hostess and so pleasant. It's only weekends for breakfast but definitely give them a try.
