We just recently discovered the pizza at Professor's Market and it is delicious! $18 for a sheet pizza and they will cut it into 16 pieces for you. Reading has A LOT of pizza places but this is our new favorite!

High-end gourmet deli! Catered lunch for 12 on 2 consecutive days. Pinwheel wrap tray and All-American cold cut platter were each a lovely presentation and delicious. Many complements from the meeting attendees! Would order again. Thank you!Parking: Not a lot of spots but no difficulty finding an empty space at lunch time.

Frank and his team put together a wonderful display of deli sandwiches, mozzarella skewers glazed chicken skewers and dessert trays for my mother‘s memorial service in Reading. The pricing was very reasonable. The delivery was on time. Frank was great to work with and the food was delicious. Thank you again to Professors market

Recommended dishes: Italian Sub

Summary: Edible but not good enough to return. If you want to know what that means then you should go around the corner to the Market Basket and order an Italian sub from this chain grocery store. Then you will have an understanding for 1/3 of the price. I felt mad after eating my sandwich. The details: Then. I had fond memories of "then". Back then (2019) we used to order here for work lunches. Back then it was an outstanding above average, flavorful Italian sandwich on a crusty chewy bread that was so good it almost made your jaw tired chewing it. Well seasoned with a drizzle oil. Now. Now the rolls are Piantadosi that you get most places including Market Basket. They aren't bad. They just don't make you feel that you are eating a $13 sandwich. Questions: Who makes an Italian with out cheese? - Professors does. I wished they asked if I wanted cheese added: I would have gladly paid for it ( already an almost $14 sandwich, what the hell, what's another $2 for cheese) Maybe it's my fault for assuming. I've never had an Italian that didn't come with provolone cheese. Do you want everything?, she asked. I replied, No. Pickles, onion, tomato. Again, she asked but still got it wrong? This is what I thought as I bit into roasted red peppers. Good thing the all toppings were so skimpy and I didn't have to pick much off. Tipping culture I feel that I tip generously. I never tip less than 30% at a sit down restaurant. Don't believe me? Call Border Cafe is Saugus and ask for Ana. Ask her if Christina leaves a good tip. I ordered my sandwich and the girl walked away to make it but then abruptly aborted mission to come back to the register to watch me enter the tip amount that was programmed on the credit card machine screen. She starred me down until I finished. Apparently she was only pleased enough to create a mediocre sandwich. Conclusion: Try it. You may like expensive edible sandwiches. But please, this Sicilian girl pleads with you, don't forget to ask for cheese! Maybe you won't be mad if you have some cheese. Pay with cash so you don't need to feel the pressure of the tip screen.

Amazing! We placed a large catering order for my Mother’s Celebration of Life Service which happened to fall on December 23 which we learned was the busiest catering day of the year. They were not only able to accommodate but they were able to deliver to the church for us and they arrived right on time. The food presentation was lovely but the food was also AMAZING! We ordered more than enough food but there was nothing left by the end because it was such a hit, everyone went back for more. Highly, highly recommend! We will definitely be using you guys for all of our catering needs in the future!

We ordered food from Professor’s Market to cater an event this past weekend. The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests on how wonderful everything was. The portions were large and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend them for catering.

Great spot. Clean, welcoming staff, and really really good food fast. Frank knows what he's doing. And why wouldn't he? He and his family have been doing it for years! We're lucky that he's made a home here in Reading. Make it a regular stop and they'll make you family. It's a home run!

Great juice! Good food, clean shop. Service seemed a bit bothered. Will come back but might think about calling ahead.
