Wish I knew this place existed sooner! Everything we had was very good, including the lattes. I had a chocoweggli and the spinach and cheese croissant (next time I would get it warmed) but both were delicious. My husband had a pretzel stick and a raspberry berliner and enjoyed both, the raspberry jam filling was really fresh tasting. Not much room to sit inside - there are only 3 small two-person tables.

Berliners tasted like a dunking donuts donut. Not fresh and commercial tasting. Almond croissants were average at best. Thought I'd try based on reviews but definitely will not go again

Delicious pastries and coffee. Nick who works there is so friendly and kind, he does an excellent job. The warm spinach and cheese croissants is one of my favorite on the go breakfasts! Love it here.

This is one of my go to coffee shops in the area. The service is always friendly and quick, and the coffee is just as good. I’ve tried some of their breakfast sandwiches (bacon egg and cheese on a french roll) and it was great - it’s a lighter sandwich but such a nice change from a super heavy breakfast sandwich on a bagel.
Love getting Swissbakers for the whole family. The folks are super nice here in Reading, and the food is always great.

I am a Swiss citizen living in NJ. Each time I visit Boston, I make sure I stop at the Swissbakers in Reading or in Allston to get croissants, pretzels or whatever Swiss goodies I miss from my dear Helvetia :-) Glad you made it through the pandemic!

Coffee is okay, on par with most other places, but their chocolate-filled croissants are absolutely DIVINE!!
