“AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! I walked into this place and wasn't sure what to make of it. I value the modest interior design and the execution of the food is a whole other universe. The menu is very diverse and you can easily spend the entire day eating here given the breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices.We were greeted kindly by the fantastic staff, who value people as if we were their family. They also treated each other as a family, which was fantastic.We started with a very good sushi roll. We had a fish sandwich that was great with the greens. The dressing on the greens complimented the coleslaw in the sandwich. The hand-cut fries looked oh-so-tempting, but I'll leave those who can get away with a heaping pile of deliciousness.We also had the Arctic Char dish that was executed as if we were in a Michelin-star restaurant. I still dream of this dish. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!!We decided to try the fried rice pudding. Most restaurants have poor desserts, but NOT RHODY ROOTS. THEIR FRIED RICE PUDDING IS AWESOME. It's sweetened and delicious rice that is rolled into balls and then covered in crushed cornflakes and then.......wait for it.......deep fried. A dessert take on arancini that then sits on Nutella and powdered sugar.I was extremely impressed. I imagine the Chefs are JWU grade, for anyone from JWU is amazing! No stone was left unturned.GREAT PLACE AND A MUST TRY!!!Parking: There are spots in the surrounding streets. Parking in the front of the restaurant is very difficult due to limited spots.“

“I am not at all a vegan. Nor am I looking for anything healthy. I love food. This place is amazing. The food is vegan, but I would go eat here every day if I could. It is delicious and savory. I have tried most of the menu, and it never disappoints. They also have the best vegan cinnamon buns ever. Always buy like 4 or 6 to bring home. It's also has amazing delicious coffee and drinks. “The food and drinks are definitely what keeps me coming back but waiting 30-40 minutes for it is a bit unreasonable. If it wasn’t for that, they have five stars all the way. I hope they can figure out a better system to serve their customers in a more timely way, but otherwise, it’s truly my favorite place to go! The food and drinks are always delicious and my personal favorite is the açai bowl. I especially love taking my pup because summertime.“

“I ordered cinnamon rolls and had some carrot cake cupcakes for my sister's birthday this past weekend. (She's gf and also a pastry chef!). I personally could not tell they were GF - and my sister gave them 10/10 and kept texting me after to say how much she loved them. Keri was very responsive and immediately let me know when I could expect my order to be ready and when it was done. I will absolutely be ordering from her again!“

“Have tried many different things here. Everything has been excellent. They make almost everything from scratch on their menu. You don’t get that from many places anymore. They even smoke a lot of the meats that they use. It’s definitely a must try if you’re from the surrounding area. If you’re from a distance it worth the drive!“

“The staff are super friendly. The restaurant is very clean and has a unique atmosphere. They probably had some of the best garlic bread I’ve ever had. The portions are big. Not going to lie the pizza was not that good. Very doughy and and mushy. You pick up a slice and all the toppings and cheese fall off. Wasn’t happy with that. Our first time ever going there.“

“I've been wanting to try this new spot since it opened but I'm never going by when it is open so I was very excited to finally be able to stop in. I have ordered the cookies from Munroe and they were delicious so I knew this would be a great spot! The Cinnamon Mocha Latte was amazinggggg. One of the best coffee's I've ever had and I'm a coffeeholic. Also got a choc chip cookie sandwich. YUM! The lady working was the absolute sweetest (not sure if she is the owner) but she went over their food & drink menu and was super helpful! This location also carries many local items for sale. “Maria recently made the cake for our wedding down the Cape last month, and WOW did she do an incredible job! Not only was the cake hands down one of the most delicious cakes I have ever eaten in my life (and I have eaten a lot!) it was also absolutely stunning. Throughout the entire process, Maria was wonderful and patient--listening to all our ideas and questions and giving us helpful feedback. They have great people working there and I have never had a bad experience and always feel very welcome. “This place is really a hidden germ. Can't believe I've been driving by and never went in. We had a get together for my my child's team here and it was a nice atmosphere. The food was not too bad. I simply took off a star because of a rude waitress I interacted with. It appeared same drinks tasted differently but she acted like I was nuts or something for noticing that. Overall, its a decent place for an evening with friends.“
