Very good

I went in on a Sunday to get a fresh baked loaf of Scali bread on the way to a nice weekend family dinner in East Boston. I had one job. Get Scali bread. To my surprise, they did not have any Scali bread at all. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if he knew of another bakery close by that was open on Sundays and may have Scali bread. He told me to go to their other location in Saugus, 5 miles away. I asked him if they would have Scali bread. He insisted that they would. I asked him to be safe if he could please call them and confirm. His answer again was "Oh no I'm sure, they definitely have Scali bread". I showed up there and before I asked for the bread, I explained to the girl behind the counter what I just went through at the Revere location and I joked that it was a felony for an Italian bakery not to have Scali bread. Then she broke the news to me that they did not have Scali bread either. I could not believe this. At first I asked her to call the other store and talk to the gentleman that told me to come there and that they would absolutely have bread. Then I changed my mind and said forget it I'm gonna go back there myself. When I went back, when I walked in the door I asked the gentleman to speak to the manager, his response was "did they have it?" I asked him again to speak to the manager and told him "no they did not have it". He informed me that the manager was not in the store. I asked him to write down the managers name and phone number. He replied "I am a manager." I told him "Oh OK so now YOU're a manager. Then write your name down on that same piece of paper with the other manager please." He started to get a little irritated about this. I took the piece of paper and told him "Look, if a customer asks you to make a phone call in the future, just make the goddamned phone call and don't be so goddamned lazy." This of course turned into an exchange of pleasantries as I walked out the door, with dueling "F You"'s for closing arguments. If Jesus Christ himself comes down from heaven and hosts a Sunday dinner and tasks me with getting fresh baked Scali bread, I will gladly accept the damnation all to Hell before I go back to Esposito's bakery. Either of them. Any of them. Put that in your oven and bake it. Don't go to this place.

Some of their goods are definitely stale i spent 59.00 and upset when i tasted everything the only thing i think that is fresh are the apple turnovers cookies stale cupcakes that i thought were so pretty were bad and stale, tasted like the refrigerator they sat in sad really . Get rid off all that stuff and start over

Only two people in bakery when I checked out and kid gave me wrong box. I'm sure the other guy got the brownies I had picked for my kids while I ended up with danish. This is basic customer service and process control that is lacking. Get better and Merry Christmas! Food was good.

I've been to the Revere location 3 times over the last few weeks only to walk in and find out there is no pizza, why would a place that sells pizza not have pizza, that would be like going to the public pool and there is no water or going to McDonald's and there are no burger's it just doesn't make sense I think the owner should stop being so cheap and make more pizza DAMN IT!!!

I was sincerely disappointed on my visit to Esposito in Saugus. I bought a ricotta pie and apple pie on Saturday for Father’s Day. My wife and I each had a slice of apple on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday night we split another slice and this morning I cut another slice only to find moldy apples. I was disgusted and threw the pie in the trash. My wife took it out to bring it back to Esposito’s. When she brought it back the employee, who may have been the owner, began dissecting the pie with her hands, in front of my wife and a cashier, to determine what type of mold or where the mold may have come from. After 5 minutes she said “give her the money back, even though they ate half of it.” In retrospect I don’t know why I gave them a score of 1 Star.

35 year customer I went today and fresh pizza was another 25 minutes but they had three left in heated glass cabinet that can't be seen through glass. So I took the three slices. They put them in the box behind the cabinet and taped the box so I never saw them. Also ordered two cannolis and they looked great through the glass and the manager and helper both got them from the back of the cabinet and put them into another small box and charged me $10.50 and I left a tip. We went out in the parking lot and ate the pizza it was hard, old looking. dry, and stale, definitely day old and reheated. I was so hungry I ate them and I was letting it go. BUT We got home and opened the cannoli's and same thing, old stale not crunchy but soggy, cheese was dry, tasteless and discolored from being old. I called and left a message for the Italian speaking woman. See picture of nasty cannoli.

The weekend would not be the same without going to Esposito Bakery and getting a fresh loaf on Scali bread and a box of Pasties. Oh, and lets not forget the Pizza ! This location is a landmark in Revere, MA. I do not mind waiting in a line each weekend to get the very best products !
