“I love this place. The food is amazing, Kafta, hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, bastirma, you name it, it’s good. They even have some kid/picky eater friendly items like chicken fingers that are great. They’re adding pizza to the menu, and I can’t wait to give it a try.“

“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“

“One of my favorite lunches in Boston. Not fancy or expensive, just affordable, healthy and large portions. My go to is the chicken kabob plate, with falafels, rice, cucumber/tomato and a really good pita bread. It's 4-5 nice chunks of grilled white meat, nice yellow rice, and strangely delicious veggies. I always ask for extra hot sauce, it's not hot and just adds flavor. It's almost too much food honestly. I also get the side of falafels which is only 5$. You get 4-5 falafels, a nice scoop of humus, and pita bread. It's more than enough food and such a good deal. They guys working there are always pretty nice and efficient.“

“Truly truly truly the greatest halal food you'll find in Boston. The Super Shawarma Sandwich is delectable, with crunchy fries and melty cheese on the inside leaving you wanting more with each bite. I also tried the Mixed Grill Plate which had an assortment of their grilled kabob meats (lamb, chicken, kafta, chicken kafta) - all phenomenal! “One of the best places on the North Shore for a quick bite to eat! The quality and portion sizes are amazing! Excellent staff that is always helpful and friendly! “I got the chicken shawarma wrap, it was delicious and freshly made. Garlic sauce, hummus and yoghurt, lots of salad and lots of chicken. Pretty healthy for a quick lunch on the way to the station. Coffee was good too, got a small bit with I got a large. Service was polite and kind. This was on a Saturday so likely more quiet than in the week. I would recommend!“
