Just stopped into R&S for jerk chicken plate. I’m so glad that I did.the jerk chicken was amazing! Perfect level of sauce and pepper. In addition the rice was tasty and not too soft. Thanks R&S, I will be back!

If you want high quality Jamaican cuisine you can pass on this place. The food is a cheap imitation of what you can get if you were in a place like Atlanta for instance. Made me a bit nauseous minutes after eating. ** EDIT: For the owner who can't seem to form a coherent thought in his response and bewails the fact that I did not mention what I had purchased in my initial review, it was the oxtail dinner. Thanks for not even bothering to give me a receipt by the way. **

My best friend and I drove all most 2 hours to try this restaurant because the reviews were so good! We both got oxtails - I got rice and peas. she got white rice… THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!! Some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! Very flavorful, not salty, portion size was large. I also tried the homemade mango passion and it was sooooooo good! And the service we got was the cherry on top! The owner is so nice and sweet. No need to try any other Jamaican restaurants in the Boston area - this is my new spot! HIGHLY recommend! I will be coming back.

So I am Jamaican born and grow and I was blown away by this place. Basically told the chef I saw the reviews online but was skeptical if this was good Jamaican food for "Boston standards" or genuinely good Jamaican food and the chef understood the assignment. Firstly the curry goat is done excellently, coconut flavor is rich and the spices are well balanced . The Jerk pork was soft and seasoned so well. But the real winner is the Oxtail. Jamaican restaurants in USA is known to short you out on Oxtail , not this place, the oxtails are huge with tons of meat and ample gravy. Overall 5/5 good yammings.

What can I say, wow!! First off don't let the appearance decisive you! The restaurant was very quiet my party of 4 was the only ones there dining, with a few locals that came and went. Seems like it would be a great takeout place during COVID-19 times, and now there is abundant amount of empty seats and tables to dine in and enjoy the delicious food. The food was impeccable every bit of it all, I heard from a bird that the items to get were the oxtails and curry goat (if they still had them) as well as the j*** chicken. We got the oxtail and curry goat but was sold out on the j*** chicken. By golly both trail and goat were cooked/stewed to perfection, one of the best I've had!! Oh the Ginger pineapple and Mango passion drinks? THE FRICKIN BEST!! We will definitely be coming back for more when they have the j*** chicken! SO GOOD!!!

Took my son here recently. Small hideaway place. Wonderful splash of color. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My son was thrilled with the amount of food and the way the place smelled. He devoured the j*** chicken with constant comments about how tender and tasty all the food was. We will be going back and following them to food festivals. If you haven't eaten here... run and get it!!!
