We ordered various drinks on a night out in Salem. Cool retro bar in Salem. Would recommend people to stop by here. Next time will have to try the food.

There's definitely food and drinks here but they're not amazing. There's arcade games too but pretty overpriced. If you come on a weekend night it's unlikely you'll get very good service. It's also very loud and often the cops are outside for some reason. I think this is more for tourists than locals.

The atmosphere is nice, it's just that sometimes the music is very loud. An excellent place to

A fun place to grab a hit of nostalgia! They have plenty of arcade games including air hockey and pinball! The drinks are fun and have clever names. All their beer/ciders are local products. We had a fun time feeling like kids again!

I've been here at least a dozen times and I must say it's been a mixed experience, both with service and food quality. During the last few visit since of the bartenders seemed annoyed to be there. Like mixing drinks and prepping was more important than simply acknowledging the customer waiting to be serviced. And it wasn't even that busy. In fact, on real busy night like during Halloween season, they had much better and experienced staff there and it was a more pleasant experience. The burger and fries were just ok, nothing special, and the fries by themselves I would not give more than 2 stars. Additionally, a good number of the arcade machines were out of service and some just take your tokens and nothing happens. The overall quality and vibe has definitely gone way down since they moved to the new location. I would not be surprised if they close and reopen with a different name soon.

Overall it was solid enough. Lots of kids running around on a Saturday afternoon, which is expected. Good beer selection but a bit (pun intended) on the pricier side. No points off for that though. Decent selection of games with classics like TMNT Turtles in Time, House of the Dead, Mortal Kombat II, etc.My biggest issue is the condition of the games. Pinball machine ate 3 tokens. The aforementioned Turtles in Time up direction didn't work for Leonardo. Area 51 gun completely stopped working mid-game. Star Wars joystick was...floppy? (wasn't accurate). House of the Dead was flawless though.Didn't want to risk it with other games so gave my remaining tokens to some random kids and left.Might go back for a beer but with lower expectations for the games.

As a line cook and a kitchen manager of 12 years, I can tell you all of the food, here comes from a frozen bag. They're also the stingiest in town when it comes to mixed drinks.Service takes forever.Very limited games too.

We came in on Saturday night and it was busy as expected. The place is huge and the bar is long. There are 30+ year old games in here that I haven't played since I was in a Pizza Hut in the 90s. The TVs were all playing 90s cartoons too. It was like being brought back to my childhood, but with no supervision and drinks! We sat at the bar, the bartenders were nice, attentive, and quick even though they were all busy. The menu is simple, very much in line with a gamer's diet (burgers, sandwiches, pizza, nachos, etc.) which is exactly what you want in this kind of spot. I ordered the Rachel Sandwich (basically a turkey reuben) and my husband got the Patty Melt medium rare. My sandwich was fat, hot and delicious. The Patty Melt was cooked perfectly, gooey and so, so good. We each had a few drinks, husband had bourbon recommended by the bartender and I had the Princess Peach cocktail which tasted like a juicy peach lemonade. We bought tokens and played pinball, Mortal Kombat II, Burger Time, House of the Dead, and skee ball - REAL skee ball with wooden balls! There was also a burlesque show that night, which was funny and a lot of fun to watch. We had a great time and will absolutely be back again! Oh, and this place is 21+ after 8PM which is just... *chef's kiss*Kid-friendliness: Accompanied minors welcome before 8PM. Very kid-friendly, they do birthday parties here a lot. After 8PM it's 21+ which is great for the adult nerds.

Just hosted my child’s 11th birthday at Bit Bar for a group of nine. The reservation process was simple. The package included reserved seats, pizza, soda, tokens and ice cream for the kids. The kids loved it & I had to drag them out of there after two hours. The facility did not set a time limit, we just had to get the kids home. We only had the pizza, which was delicious, so can’t comment on other food. We were able to bring in our own birthday cake. We got there right when it opened on Sunday (noon) and it was packed when we left a little after 2pm.The waitstaff were kind & helpful. They only have a couple parking spots. We found street parking and there is a parking garage across the street.I would recommend!

Food was delicious and atmosphere even better! There are so many gluten free options which is a big plus for me as I have Celiac's. Came just to eat but ended up spending a few hours playing games after.Dietary restrictions: Really really great allergy accommodations. I have Celiac's and I was able to do SO much of the menu totally gluten free!
