I ordered a cake, short notice, and it is a nut free bakery, which is what I needed. The owner was very pleasant and was able to help me, I was thrilled. I picked up the cake, but was a little leary as the place seemed very old and run down. Also, the colors were not exactly what I asked for, but that was ok, and a little pricey for what I got. When we cut the cake, and as people were having it, I was so disappointed. It was extremely dry and crumbly. Barely edible, luckily we had other desserts available. Nobody ate it, I threw it away. I would not recommend this place of business. Do yourself a favor and go to your local supermarket or another bakery.

I was coming in from out of town and didn’t know where to start looking for cakes, so started googling and came across Blue Ribbon Cake. I reached out via Facebook messenger, was responded to quickly and assured the Maleficent cake I was requesting was not a problem. Communication throughout the process was a breeze. The owner was friendly and polite and I could tell he took pride in his work. When I picked up the cake, I was blown away. It was exactly what I wanted! Not only was the cake beautiful, it was also delicious! Our birthday girl was so excited! It has been several weeks and she still texts me every few days saying “I miss my cake”.
