Me and my wife had the OG, I've had them many times but this was my first time taking her. Needless to say, it blew her mind. Great food as always and will forever be the only place I get a hot dog from

I have multiple dietary restrictions, so I was so excited when I saw that Boston Hot Dog Company had veggie dogs AND gluten free buns! Both were high quality, and the topping list was extensive, giving me lots of interesting options and combinations that I could eat. I also got the fries which are some of the best in town!Vegetarian options: Delicious veggie dogs!Dietary restrictions: Great GF buns

I stumbled upon this place while visiting Salem. It is a smaller counter service spot with a few stools. They offer a large variety of different hot dogs with different flavors and different toppings. For example, their Thai dog has peanut sauce on it and their Taco dog has salsa, tortilla bits and cheese. You can choose them to be steamed or grilled though grilled is better in my opinion. The hot dog was decent and the side of baked beans I had it with was fine too. I have better hot dogs, but this place was okay for a quick, cheap snack especially if you want to try more adventurous hot dogs.

Best hotdog I've ever had without question. The carnival dog and Mac and cheese are both great.

Literally no chairs. No chairs in the whole place. This place has obviously never heard of disabled people.Edit: Please don't leave a snarky response that invalidates a disabled person's lived experiences! Definitely leaving this up now, this place is super ableist!

My wife and I stopped here after a walking tour of Salem and we were extremely impressed! She had the Reuben dog and I had the Shorty. The shorty had crisp and beautifully caramelized onions. The short rib was tender and delicious, the hot dog itself was great too and as an unexpected nice touch, there was arugula on top (I'm a huge fan of arugula paired with beef!). The Reuben looked amazing and the Mrs really enjoyed it. I just had a taste of the corned beef and dressing which were really good. We also shared an order of the rosemary Parmesan fries and they were perfect! Thin and crispy on the outside with a soft melt-in-your-mouth inside and seasoned to perfection with rosemary and Parmesan. Delicious!

Food was pretty good. I got a pickledog and some coleslaw. It was nice and fresh. Overall food was good, I'd come back again. Only thing that sucked was they did not have any seating inside so we had to stand because it was very cold outside.

Literally my favorite hot dog spot in the entire world. I’ve taken trips to Salem JUST for the baked beans and chili cheese dogs since about 2010. The seating has changed, the staff has grown, but the food remains delicious.

Am I willing to pay outrageous prices for mediocre food from an establishment in a tourist destination? Sure. I get it - running these places in peak season is rough (been there, done that) and you have limited time to make money.However. It is beyond dishonest to charge $7.50 for a corn dog, claim that it is “hand battered with tempura batter,” but in fact serve a fresh-from-the-frozen-section State Park corn dog. Just grossly dishonest.

Menu says Chicago HotDogs come with a poppyseed bun… ours came on a piece of toast and wrapped in tin foil. Didn’t notice till I opened it up later.Lame

Chili Mac and cheese and carnival dog were both excellent! Chili is really high quality tasting, not like it’s just from a can.
