David was first rate in booking my tour group of students for a pizza party lunch at his location in the Salem Witch Mall. He and his crew were all set up and ready for our arrival. Everyone was served their pizza, salad, French fries, soda and cookies within minutes! Great food, great service, a very affordably priced option for feeding a group of hungry middle school students - a Tour Manager’s dream scenario! And the DJ was top notch too! I look forward to bringing future groups to Essex NY Pizza in Salem, MA! Thanks, David!

A confident 4 stars. Coming from NYC, MA pizza is almost always trash. This place is not. It's not NY, but you can't expect that anywhere else but New Haven, CT. Excellent place to sit and eat, complete with the classic pizzeria vibe that's becoming harder to find these days. I go to Salem annually, and it looks like I'll also be going here annually now.

The best pizza!! We were there on vacation and are both very picky. We don't eat pizza from chain restaurants. We each got one slice then went back for another because it was so good. I'm not a cookie fan but theirs looked good so I decided to try a peanut butter cookie. It was delicious too. We were very surprised at how good everything was. The employees were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. We liked it so much that we went again the next day. I would definitely recommend!
There was a local joint where I lived growing up where you could get a pretty solid pizza and some mozzarella sticks, which seemed like the greatest thing as a kid. I wasn't thrilled that my son was insistent on going here based on the logo alone, but maybe it was the 90s soundtrack or the mozzarella sticks, but it brought me back to that memory. The pizza is good, the service is quick, and it's far hipper inside than the pizza joint from my childhood. Definitely worth a stop in your adventures in Salem!

It was cold, rainy and miserable there was a very sweet girl rang us up. Gave us a cookie and let us set for a while to warm up and dry off! The pizza was delicious!
