I'll preface that I'm a "quiet place" kind of eater. Kokeshi didn't disappoint. Not one bit. Every ingredient in the Back Alley Bacon Ramen was treated with a good amount of care. Soup base was good, noodles tasted fresh made, I should have said no cilantro.

We're visiting Salem today for spring break vacation with the kids. We ordered the prosciutto and Gorgonzola pizza and the spicy white kimchi pork ramen. The pizza was amazing and the crust was crispy and flavorful. The ramen broth was surprisingly delicious! Creamy, spicy, and super flavorful. Our server, Nicole, was super friendly. Great spot with great service and food!

Good was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed the Vietnamese soup, spicy white miso ramen, and the smoky bacon ramen. So good that we returned a few days later!

If you're looking for an amazing Ramen shop in the Salem area, this would be my first recommendation. My usual would be the Colonel Sanders, which I get almost any time that I go. If you're going in the summer, there is also outdoor seating available.

Great place, love the fusion, loved the noodles. I’ll keep coming back for the variety! Not a negative knock at all: I would just turn down the music a little- especially when it’s not too busy. I couldn’t hear my in-laws sitting right next to me.

Excellent. Cant wait to go back. They have a sister restaurant attached with a brick oven. That's excellent too. You can order from either menu

I gave it a good rating not really because their food was tasty, rather it was because I think this restaurant has a unique style.

I had the sanders noodles twice and it is very filling and tasty. I would say its one of the best bowls of ramen ive ever had. My vegan boyfriend got the veggie ramen and his was delicious too. They also have a sake (or soju I can't remember) cocktail that changes based on what time of year it is. Highly recommend this place :)Vegetarian options: Vegan/vegetarian has one ramen option, but it is very good. You should still specify any dietary restrictions you may haveWheelchair accessibility: Stairs to get in, they may have a ramp I did not ask

Ramen was okay. Not a huge fan of it being two different restaurants. Maybe I'll come back and try the Italian menu for a full review.

Tried the bacon ramen, the viet noodles and the Dan Dan noodles. They're mehhhh if you're Asian noodle connoisseurs. It's even weird as a fusion concept. Yall should just flip the menu and go for the pizza instead. Service is also below average. Tourist trap for sure.

The dan dan noodles did not taste good, nor were they authentic. If this was an attempt at a fusion dish, it completely missed the assignment. Dan dan noodles are not supposed to be a soup. Also, the texture of the noodles are not supposed to be so soggy it tastes like paste. Maybe there's a better chance with the pizza. I only ate my dish because I was starving all day. If I wasn't, I would not have even touched the dish.
