Don't think this is a fair career opportunity of business. I was greeted by a manager on duty whom stated the hiring manager had stepped out and he had told me to come back or I may receive a phone call. Gave him my ŕesume and stated I had already filled out the online app. Much appreciated that he took it. While leaving I forgot the GM's name so I had called and asked, then told by the hostess that his name was Mike. Miscommunication I'm sure. Gave it a few days while still seeing their online post, looking for new employees. When I called for the mystery man Mike, Chris Scott the GM, whom I was transferred to, had told me they are not hiring because they had already hired a couple of new people and there was no Mike. Ok, fine. Just to clarify in person to be sure I was given the correct information, I showed up in person w/in maybe 10 minutes of (Chris Scott's shift) The host greeted me and was very helpful as I asked for the hiring manager. He preceeded to step out back to find him. Then the host came out to me alone and stated that the hiring manager would be in On Wednesday or Thursday. Hmmm confusing and not very business like on Chris's part by not personally speaking to me. It was clearly not busy, but who knows, maybe he was. I will not go back, as determined as I am to work and am giving any future people advice of how unprofessional this experience was, but who knows keep your heads up!

My friends and I are all regulars at LBs and have been since before the move. Longboards is much more than an excellent bar to us. I've never had a bad dish here, although the new extra large wings and the ricotta sausage flatbread is always top of mind when we get the menu. They have all our favorite beers behind the bar for a fair price and we love trying out all the cocktails too. More importantly this is where we go to watch a game, celebrate new jobs, party on holidays, and I'll even have my bridal shower here in April. The bartenders are friends to us and this place is like the Central Perk or Cheers of Salem. I go here with my friends, on date nights, and I am even known to go alone for some good food and company. Thank you for being a second home to us LBs we love you!!

I will admit that I was worried when I learned that they were moving into such a big space but boy was I wrong! The redesign is awesome and sorely needed in the area(the bar is a great place to eat and watch a game). We sat in the dining room and the food and service was amazing! Highly recommend the steak tips! Can't wait to go back!!

The bartender was extremely rude and condescending. As far as the food, had the burger and it was just ok.

Meh. nice room. However, the burgers were tiny and over cooked. Like most other places, it seemed like the price was 30% higher than last year. Considering the mediocre quality of the food, I wouldn't recommend the place. It's too bad, as the former place (Finz) was a class operation.

Great place and great staff. Went on a date with my boyfriend about a week ago. It was a weekday and he had class until 9pm so we had trouble finding a restaurant with a kitchen open past 930. The kitchen closed full menu at 10pm but had bar food(flatbread pizza, wings, etc) avaliable until 11pm. We got there around 9:45 and our waitress (I forget her name) was awesome and very kind. We placed our order very quickly, we got a chicken sandwich and a flatbread pizza and it was out to us before 10pm. My only complaint is the cost of the food for the quality of the food. The food is not bad by any means, it's good food, just basic and you can get similar, same quality food cheaper elsewhere. This place is near downtown salem and it is right on the water, so I understand part of the prices are for the location and atmosphere of the restaurant.Overall, great experience. Staff was great, service was quick and food and drinks were good. If you're looking for a good place opened late night on a weekday, longboards would be a good place to stop by.Parking: Going late at night on a weekday there is plenty of parking, but since it's salem and right on the water I can assume it is difficult to find parking during the day, on weekends and around OctoberWheelchair accessibility: Place is located on the ground level. Uneven red brick sidewalk that may be difficult to navigate. I do not remember if the door has an automatic opening option, but there are 2 doors to go through. Inside the restaurant, there is a lot of open space that seems easy to navigate through.

I had gone to this restaurant when it was at its old location, and it was just OK. Their new spot is right next door and is amazing! Much nicer inside with a really cool atmosphere. Just had apps and some drinks, but what we are was good. Buffalo brussel sprouts for the win!

I've been going to Longboards with my boyfriend for a good amount of time now, and we're very happy with the service, food, and staff! We frequent music video bingo on Wednesdays with our good friend Mike hosting. The new place is great and spacious, and the menu additions have been awesome so far! Thank you LB's for the friendly service each time we come in :)

Well the Lobster caprese went a little downhill since Sept. I was ordering it all the time in Sept Oct. Got it yesterday for the first time since. Lobster was chewy with some shells pieces. Tomatoes were raw. Too bad I really liked that dish. A bit spendy to bother trying again.
