Delicious Biryani and Palak Paneer. Attentive service. And that warm moist towel to end is always a nice touch.

Only issue is the prices for the cocktails is not on the menu. Otherwise I always enjoy my times at Passage!

I met some friends for dinner here last Friday. One of whom had never tried Indian food, *gasp*! The group let me take the reins and order for everyone. I wish I had gotten photos, but we were too busy digging in. The large bread basket is worth the cost! Although, I wish they gave a bit more variety than just naan. We had goat curry, mixed biryani, some shrimp curry, and tikka masala. All but one dish gets 5/5, as they were delicious and the meat tender. The biryani was the only dish that did not get a full five stars. The meat was dry and felt day old thrown in. Service was impeccable, and the decor could use a refresh, but overall, it was fine. The cost was very reasonable.

We have ordered from this place for the past 10 years. They must have changed the chef or management in the last few months. So disappointed. First sign that things weren’t as they used to be is that there was no “Indian food” smell to the food at all!! One of the best thing when you pick up food is how great it smells in your car when you’re driving home in anticipation of a great meal. This time… nothing..And then there is the food itself. The onion chutney, which used to be so awesomely spicy that you could handle just a tiny bit.. no spice at all. No taste.. just blah onions. The chicken tikka masala.. instead of a thick, yummy sauce we got some runny consistency something that had no flavor at all. Trader Joe’s version is 10 times better. Lamb briani had 0 flavor.. it had heat, weirdly enough, but no actual flavor. The meat samosas and garlic naan were not bad. But certainly not worth the $65 we paid for dinner. This place used to be great. So disappointing. Never again.

Great place! Delicious food, I am vegetarian so I had vegetarian options, all delicious 1. Vegetable mixed appetizers 2. Vegetable masala 3. Kabuli channa 4. Gulab Jamun 5. Basil & coconut naan (shared by 2 people) I would visit again! The location has plenty of seating. I noticed that there was no music playing in the background, I prefer when there is. There is a service fee applied to your check, I didn’t ask what for. The picture is of the appetizer & naan (still trying to remember to take better picture for google reviews!)?⭐️Plenty of people were eating at this restaurant for dinner, on a cold Wednesday night- 17F.

DON'T EVER ORDER BIRYANI FROM HERE!!! I ordered chicken biryani and went there to pickup. After coming home and opening the box, it wasn't biryani. It was pulav with chicken pieces. If you are an Indian like me reading this, then you know the difference between pulav and a damn biryani. The food I received had green peas, mixed raw onion, crushed cashew nuts, green bell pepper (capsicum), mushrooms and so many other veggies mixed with no taste. Veggies mixed with rice is the classic definition of pulav not a biryani!!! This literally had no taste of biryani.Don't order any kind of biryani from here. Waste of $20.Such a disgrace and disappointment this restaurant is serving wrong food to people. I'm an Indian and I'm still cursing this Indian restaurant. If there wasn't the snow storm, I would have gone there for my refund!

We used to eat at Passage to India regularly and were excited to have lunch here today for the first time in a couple of years. It was so disappointing— the paneer appetizer and naan were yummy, but our three entrees were so bland and bordering on gross. We always order more than we can eat so that we have leftovers, and for the first time ever in our history of eating Indian food we left all the extra food on the table.

We ordered takeout. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Among other items, we ordered Goa Shrimp Curry and Shrimp Korma. They were cold (we arrived just as the bag was being set out, ten minutes early). The two shrimp dishes tasted exactly the same, one to the other. They were bland and flavorless. We called the restaurant, spoke to the manager, and we are still very disappointed.

My boyfriend and I ordered here around Halloween 2023 (around the time I notice another Yelper had a cockroach in her water). I love Indian food but I noticed I had some wild allergic reactions to the food here - my heart was pounding quickly, I felt flush in the face, got a mild headache, had pins and needles in my hands, got a critical notification from my blood glucose monitor... it was intense. I wanted to figure out what ingredients they put in the food so I could try to track down what gave me such a reaction, called back, and the staff REFUSED TO TELL US. They kept saying that we needed to talk to "Belinda", but when we called and tried to talk to Belinda, they changed the story and said we had to come into the restaurant to be able to talk to anybody. I am from out of town so can't come in, but really wanted to identify what ingredients made me so sick. It was a scary reaction. The person who answered the phone kept saying his name was "John Cena" and hanging up on us, over several calls. Additionally, my boyfriend and I both ordered curry via UberEats but his was green and mine was yellow, so I definitely don't think he got what he was supposed to get. For these reasons, I would not eat here again. Would update my review on the food itself if I could get the allergy information, but as it stands, service is deplorable.

I had such a bad experience here. The waiter was extremely rude. Below average food. The price on the menue is only if you pay in cash which is noted in a small font size somewhere in the 5 paged menue. The least I expect from a restaurant is to be transparent about their prices.

Doing uber eats deliveries, was in and out as soon as I got there. Parking is limited so I recommend ordering takeout or delivery, if you want eat there, best to take an uber/lyft or public transportation as you will have to find your own parking area.
