Hands down our favorite restaurant in Salem. The atmosphere is incredible, service is always top notch and the seafood is the best around town. The crab and lobster are the best. We stop here multiple times each trip. Highly recommended!

One of the oldest locations in Salem. The Lyceum is famous for its' longevity, history, and right now food. We ate lunch there and sat in front of the fireplace. The venue was very laid back with an atmosphere of going back in time. There is an air of energy I cannot explain other than going there yourself and experiencing it. Even though I wasn't sitting on the bar side, I managed to walk around and just get a good eye-look. The food was excellent as well as the service. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of and we didn't have a need to worry about asking for anything. The host at the entrance made sure to ask us while we were dining how the food and service were. This is a place you should visit. A bit pricey, but hell, so is everything else now-a-days. Might as well get great service and good food.

Of course, Turners NEVER disappoints. We had a massive group of 20. Not only did they have ample seating, they got another member of the wait staff to start early to bus the tables we occupied. He was professional and very attentive. The food- amazing. Always a warm bowl of clay chowder and lobster bisque to greet your belly, saved room for the seamans platter. Great food.

We made a reservation through Google. Got seated immediately. Lobster Bisque was to die for. Our waitress was great but really put the cherry on top was an older man who was so sweet and kind. He helped my friend with the breakdown of her lobster. He was informative, funny, and seemed to have the biggest heart!

I don’t like seafood and ordered an entree to try that I ultimately didn’t like. Of course this was no fault of the restaurant’s, just personal preference but they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and even comped us a free dessert! Amazing customer service! Would absolutely return. Great ambiance and vibe as well!
Hailey was amazing food was amazing service from door to table was outstanding it was pricey but worth every penny and more I hope we come back when we visit Salem againKid-friendliness: They accommodated our 4yo and had no problem with our 10yo and other kids we had service was impeccable
