Didnt have an opportunity to taste the food. Waited until they were supposed to open on Wednesday, 24 January 2024, but no one ever opened up for business. There were no signs giving a reason for their closure and we stayed in the area until 5:20pm in case they were opening late. We drove 30 miles in a cold dreary rain and were quite disappointed.

Stopped by on a cold and rainy day in beautiful Salem and found this little jewel. Great food and very generous drink for a great price. The staff, especially Rachel, who was our bartender, were so incredibly kind and really made me feel right at home! Thank you so much!

We arrive and the place had new ownership and wasn't fully switched over yet. We were the only ones in the dining area. They provided us a jank menu with very little of items available. The service from what I remembered wasn't that great either. Then they use Hunts Ketchup, like really. We are from Pittsburgh and frown upon anyone who doesn't use Heinz, it's the best and from the burgh period. The food was okay not that great. I wasn't jumping out of my seat. Not what I had expected.

Little disappointed in this after reading all the great reviews.Food was not great, way overpriced. Not sure what more to say other than it's a no from us.

We were staying in Boston for a weeks vacation and decided to spend the day in Salem. We went to Witch's Brew for lunch which was a bad decision. They were out of many things on the menu which included hamburgers. The food we did order, salads, onion rings and poppers, were terrible (frozen food type onion rings and poppers that were overcooked). The people at the table behind us had to keep asking the waitress for napkins and silverware. The place was not busy. This was the worst meal we had on our entire trip.

The tables were really sticky (napkins and phones stuck to the table). They were out of several items on their menu. They replaced mine and my dad’s side dish without asking/checking that it was okay. My boyfriend’s beer tasted off. I would just go somewhere else.

Everything was great. We visited this location 2 times in 3 days, it's awesome. The manager was more than amazing. We love her. Love her accent, she was super fun. Food was great. Very accommodating. Super friendly. We were a big group. I totally recommend stopping for a drink or great soup. Also they have burgers and fries. Nice fireplace. We loved everything and the staff. Oh they have 2 restrooms. That may not feel important but it is because Salem is busy in October. Every was very clean and the manager was our favorite part of the 2 visits. Drinks were great. Wonderful experience in Salem and that this location.

For a restaurant in salem with witch in the name, this place has dropped the ball entirely. The menu was boring, the food itself was bad. The decor is boring. I would suggest getting back into the theme of things since your name implies it's quite a bit more exciting than what's

I went here for my birthday dinner. It wasn't packed or anything. The food is Japanese. I really loved their miso soup. The drinks were okay. I would say their sushi can be improved upon. I also ordered the bento box dinner and that was really good and filling, the rice lacked flavor though.

Drinks, food, service... bad. Save yourself some time and light 50$ on fire at home. Very similar feeling to what I felt as I walked out.

$9 Guinness?! To heck with this place forever. I can get infinitely more interesting beers and food elsewhere in this city for less. The staff is nice enough, but the prices for drinks are utter bull.

Lovely cafe with a cozy atmosphere and setting. I tried their coffee, which was very pleasant and the location was incredibly close to everything of interest.

Came by this last Sunday for a drink and snack. This is a cute café/bar located near the wharf. The bar side is dark and old-fashioned with a real wood bar with that armrest of yesteryears! Tin Ceilings even! Katelin, the bartender, was super friendly and had great recommendations. Hubs had the sunset martini, and I had SALEMPOLITAN. Both are refreshing and well-balanced. The food is your average bar food but done well. Onion rings were nice and crisp battered, and the quesadilla was well-seasoned chicken and veg, wrapped and grilled well. This place is nice to spend the late afternoon meeting new friends. The prices were good too. I could see us making this a regular location.
