Went to Capri Seaside Italian Kitchen for dinner. We realized we had never been, so decided to try it out. Was seated at a booth, very cozy and brightly lit. Waitress came over and we ordered drinks. A Blood Orange Martini for me...very delicious. Bread came over, very good as well. We ordered the Wedding Soup which was good. Not outrageous...but OK. All was good and then it went off the cliff.... My husband ordered his usual Veal Parmesan. What came was a deep-fried piece of "something". Behind all the nasty coating that ALL FELL OFF inside was veal that was tough as shoe leather. The picture clearly shows what he was served. There was a scant amount of pasta. This is what they call "authentic Italian cooking"??? Needless to say, we told our server and she took it back. I ordered Chicken Piccata with pasta on the side and the chicken was served in a "bowl of tasteless soup". Horrible. The chicken was screaming for a life preserver. Apparently, there is a butter shortage at Capri Seaside. And what's up with the measly piece of chicken for $25.00!!! The sauce on the pasta tasted like it was fresh out of a CAN of tomato sauce, no herbs or any spices whatsoever. Horrible. Apparently there is no chef at this restaurant just line cooks. Needless to say, the server took the Veal Parmesan off our bill. However, no manager ever came over to express their apology on serving such a bad entrée and ruining a person's dinner. Apparently, they are not apologetic. I wondered if there even was a manager there or perhaps, they really don't care. Coincidentally, I received an email with an advertisement the other day for Capri. I quickly noticed it mentioned Chef Condon. Chef Condon used to run the old version of the Sweetheart Inn and before that was at the Red Taven. He also did catering. I have had his food before and ate at the "old" Sweetheart Inn and it was horrible. And I mean horrible. While at the previous restaurants his wife was a witch to the patrons. Had I known this before going to Capri, I would have never even bothered to go to Capri at all and give them a donation. Apparently, Mike went out of business at his Sweetheart Inn restaurant. Make no mistake between Mike Condon's version of the Sweetheart Inn and the new management at the Sweetheart Inn. The new version of Sweetheart Inn is like day and night to when Mike Condon was there.

The Capri is Excellent! Cozy areas to sit in...a room with a fireplace, and back room off of the main dining room. Big bar with great TV's! Excellent service...Thanks Kirsten!! Excellent food!!

There were 4 of us and we eat here before Blue Ocean events. No of us have ever had a bad meal. Chicken and Eg plant parm is the best you'll ever get anywhere and there pizza is delicious.

Gloppy risotto and chicken with more glop on top was supposed to be Chicken Francese. At least the broccolini was good. Others at my table picked at the poor underdone pizza which went home to the dogs. Delicious tuxedo cake saved the night.

Excellent service stating with the Hostess. Friendly and gracious. Our server Riane was excellent! Greeted us promptly with a friendly and upbeat attitude. Food came out the kitchen in a timely manner and was well executed. Portions were generous and the price was reasonable. Restaurant was immaculate, as were the Clean well stocked restrooms. Overall experience was very positive.

The hostess and our server Stacy were excellent. They treated us so well. Stacy took the time to make recommendations and guided us on our wine, appetizer, and dinner selections. It was so satisfying to have such a caring server and a delicious dinner experience. Thank you. We'll be back!

The food and wine and service were absolutely superb. The Ruffino Modus Super Tuscan, mussels in red sauce, veal & eggplant parm, and frutti di Mare could not have been any better. Riane is a phenomenal server. Thank you!

Our first time visiting. The ambience was nice with two fireplaces. The service was excellent with our server Emily. Very attentive and accommodating. The food was very good. We loved the Italian Wedding Soup! The desserts look amazing but we were too full to try this time. Will visit again.

Not only was the food, delicious, but the service was outstanding. The restaurant was super busy, yet our waitress, Riane, never missed a beat. She checked on us regularly, got everything to us in a timely fashion, and was super friendly the whole time. The cocktails were perfect, and the food was cooked to perfection. I wish we had room for dessert!

Our meals were delicious and the service fantastic. We also loved the fireplace. The only distraction during our conversations was the music, just a tad to loud. Otherwise, we love everything and will be back
