My mom and I came out for lunch and Joey was our server. Completely ignored and disregarded us. Talked over us and would walk away when we tried to speak to him or put an order in. Asked if everything came out okay but clearly didn’t want an answer. The worst experience we’ve had at any restaurant but that was well shown in the tip.

I'm a regular customer with my partner at the Peabody location. Can't say enough good things . Occasionally I stop at the amesbury location..I have a big complaint as a regular customer..The t.v. reception at the bar is terrible..This is a sports bar..Come on !!

2-9-2024 2:50 pm Heard the Sylvan was a good place to eat so we tried it. Sat at the bar. 2 people working the bar wasn't too busy plenty of seating available. Ordered drinks and waited a short time for them. No problem. Then waited. Bar service sucked, waited to order food waited to order more drinks Tara as she was called to someone one more hour till I can get out of here. They should train at Tuckaway to see how a bar works.Tara was very short with another couple while we were there.Food was ok service sucked. 1st time will be last time.

The Pot Pie looked like the thickness of wallpaper paste and thought it strange that it came with mashed potatoes?? Did not care for the seeded braided roll with the Philly steak. My other half chicken sandwich was good but strangely presented. The ultimate nachos were awesome plenty to go around, we actually took the rest home.

Have been here several times, and the food is always awesome! I normally have steak tips ?or a hamburger. Friends have had baked haddock and onion soup, and they loved them! Service is always friendly and welcoming, payed attention to.

Can't say handy cap very friendly. When you Can't walk well all seating is difficult. Also not good for wheele chairs.
