I love the food here, always have... but lately, why aren't your phones ever working?! This never used to be a problem, now it seems you can never call ahead an order..

There is a reason this place has great reviews! It's fantastic! Between the great pastries, awesome coffee, incredible salads, and outstanding sandwich offerings, you can bet everyone in your party will be happy. I have been to this place many, many times over the years, and it has always been top-notch.

Would not recommend this place at all. Yes we got there when they were going to soon be closing but happily served us. Just as we sat down to eat, one of the young kids came over and said "Let me get this out of the way for you " when our plates were clearly full of food. It's common sense to use your eyes to see how much food someone has before you start to try and clear a table. My advice, clean house or retrain staff to use common sense.

An absolute treasure in Sandwich! I had a ln awesome lunch with friends at the Cafe today. Fresh greens, awesome selection and ridiculous bakery and coffee options.James and staff are super attentive and the energy is fantastic.Loved our serverer, Shelia!Make it point to stop for breakfast or lunch. Looking forward to going back.Vegetarian options: They offer something for everyone.

Good eats, appreciate the small town feel and the overall vibe/decor. Not too pricey.

Went here and had the worst experience. I have Celiac disease and was served what we thought was not gluten free toast, which the manager stated it was. I do actually believe her, it just might not have been a brand I’m used to. They were very rude when refunding, but the food was tasteless, cold and just plain not good. Borderline inedible.Would not return, recommend, and was told when I was leaving that “if you have Celiac, don’t eat out. Celiac isn’t even that serious I have a friend who has it.” I explained that it is and have been hospitalized many times to which she rolled her eyes.Save yourself the trouble of a bad meal and bad attitude and go somewhere else.

We are so glad we stopped in here - and have driven by the road it's off of numerous times, without ever stopping in until this week. They hand you a sign when you walk in, you pick a table, review the menu, and then order from the counter, and they bring it out to you. Our sandwiches came out fairly quickly after we ordered them. My husband had one of the specialty black board sandwiches - the Godfather (wine cured salami, imported Italian ham, lettuce, heirloom tomato, fresh mozzarella, and pesto on a ciabatta) - it's apparently pretty popular, and I can see why, it was delicious! I went with a panini - the Umbrian (imported salami, ham, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and herb mayo). Both came with a pickle, and of course, cape cod potato chips. Both sandwiches were outstanding. We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

What a wonderful place. The restaurant itself is so pretty. The offer a decent selection of breakfast items, coffee, tea, ...It's semi self-service. You order and pay at a counter and then you will get your items served.I had the German Breakfast. Price is altogether at the higher end. But it's delicious!

I generally don't give five stars to a restaurant on the first try, but I'll give them 4.5. The sausage soup was it's very good, and the toffee chocolate chip cook was excellent. One of the best cookies I've had in a long long time. Service was excellent too. Prices were reasonable. I'll be back!

Sent by a local, I appreciated Cafe Chew's long list of great sandwiches. The Portofino was an adult grilled cheese on grilled bread w/ fig jam. A winner. Toffee choco chip cookie was delicious too. Busy and cool spot.
