I give these 5 star ratings for this reason. Jimmy who is one of the managers. When anything goes awry he is certain to take care of it swiftly, To speak of the young waitress we had her name was Sophie a young waitress but quick to learn she was very humble and has a lot of integrity and respect for herself and her customers she serves. I can only say thank you Sophie for being the person you are.I also have to give out a shout out to Stephanie who also showed great waitressing skills and respect. that young lady should be training any waitresses or waiters that come in. I only hope this review reaches Paul the head manager. remember Sophie you are a very lovely young lady with a lot of respect be yourself. I only hope when I come back in I still see you working there and you'll be our waitress. I was very happy to see that it's still the same wonderful place I always thought it was to go and have a meal with your family, that they take care and preparing for you. I have been going there since my grown kids were little.

Hostess was unequivocally useless, couldn't do the basics of her job such as greeting guests, explaining the wait. My party left after couples were seated out of order and offered seats before people that were waiting.

Since I posted this and have heard nothing back from Applebees I will be posting it again , shows your lack of care stems from management as well which explains the experience I had and why it’s Gone unresolved this long. Unhappy staff , save your time and money and go to any other restaurant that comes to mind there are plenty on route one to chose from .Went here last night for dinner with my girlfriend and was told there wasn’t booths available for another 15 minutes (even though we counted 10 available booths )and was offered to sit at a high table by the employeee “short black haircut with buzz cut”sitting people down but we decided to wait the 15 minutes since we weren’t in a rush , she said ok and then was approached by a waiter on the table side who had grey long hair and was an older lady , we received rude stares from the both of them as we were sitting waiting patiently , the First Lady “short black hair with buzz cut” then came back up to us and insisted that we sit at the high top table instead of waiting with the waiter (older lady long grey hair ) stared us down while we were going through this uncomfortable situation clearly being pushed to do something we did not want to , we finally gave up and agreed to sit at the high table and proceeded to follow her to the table , as we walked by they older waiter with grey hair she could not stop giving us a nasty upset unprofessional look and stared us down , the lady with the black short buzz put out our menus on the table with a nasty I mean very nasty passive aggressive smile and attitude and almost laughing at us saying “this is where you will be sitting for tonight “ as if us deciding to patiently wait for a booth was against Applebees policy and we were making both of these lady’s jobs harder , we left and went to the 99 in Lynn field and had an amazing night and dinner and recived great customer service and welcoming attitudes , will never be going to this Applebees again , we all have hard and tough days but acting in that manner while you work in customer service is unacceptable nobody will want to spend there hard earned money at your establishment if they are treated in that manner .

Customer service is trash. We were there before a bunch of people but yet the lady decided to skip us and take the other groups first and when we went to go talk to her, she didn't even bother to look at us and told us that it is a 2 hour wait and walked off. Didn't even bother with them and just left.
