I have been going to Kelly's for years & the food still tastes good but the amount of food is less. I ordered the fried clam plate & usually there is an abundance of clams. Last night was more like a handful. The plate costs $30 & getting less. Normally I don't finish & have leftover. Not last night. Not the Kelly's I remember.

I went to the Saugus location today to pick up an online order, only to find out I moronically ordered it to Medford. The manager on duty, Nick, called Medford, told them to use my order however, and proceeded to make me my order while I waited free of charge.He was incredibly kind, and this type of customer service happens these days about 1% of the time.Just a super lovely human that made things easier on this tired mom.

Son had a dentist appointment in the area and texted to ask me if I wanted a sandwich from Kelly’s. My answer, absolutely.Sandwich and mozzarella sticks still warm when he bright it in but I’ve never ever had a sandwich this well done before??My son was there right at opening today, maybe that’s why? Yesterday’s heated up? Definitely not the sandwich I’m use to. Was gross, so dry.

The roast beef sandwich was so dry-‘the beef was over cooked- well done. Horrible! The 2Stars is for the chowder.
