I’ve been coming to Lena’s since I was 6 years old… I’m now 18. I’ve never had a more perfect sub than Lena’s, the atmosphere is so family welcoming and gives off great vibes. I come 2-3 times a week and I’m never ever ever disappointed. My friends and I love Lena’s and we will forever be going there to eat!!

They have good wraps. Love the buffalo chicken finger wrap with cheese and lettuce, with blue cheese on side. Honey BBQ chicken finger wrap is also good. They have the good chicken fingers and real honey BBQ sauce. Definitely recommend these two items.

Just bought two large subs with stale bread. The owner must have known but sold them to me anyway. For $30 he should have not sold them.

I am excited I found Lena's. The food is so fresh and tastes delicious. Most sun shops drown their food in grease and you can tell Lena's food is made fresh and with fresh ingredients! My new favorite sub shop!!

Gave them another shot and have eaten there a half dozen times since, pleased every time. The food has been excellent, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are enormous. While I've read a few reviews that speak of being treated poorly, and w/o doubting anyone else's own personal experience, I've found the husband and wife duo that operate the place to be very nice. Have tried the meatball sub, the mayflower wrap, the cranberry bog, the chicken ceasar wrap, the steak and cheese, the cordon bleu wrap the chili and the clam chowder. Everything has been very good. The steak and cheese was a little bland and the Mayflower could have used a little more turkey but it was good. The chicken cesar might be the best chicken ceasar I've ever had. The meatball sub is great. The cordon bleu wrap with the crispy bacon is excellent. The Chowder is very good as is the chili. It's a regular lunch spot for me now. I'd give them 4.5 stars.

First time ordering. Italian sub $13 and change. For sub..? Worst Italian sub I’ve ever had. It’s literally pathetic ask for everything on it and got a cold cut sandwich. The hots pickles lettuce etc we’re basically non existent. I opened it and thought it was the wrong order because theres so little in it. I honestly couldn’t even believe it. How this place has such high reviews is d*** founding. No way anyone in the right mind would consider this acceptable. She just didn’t care. Plenty of sub shops around Saugus so go somewhere far better and far cheaper.

Holy moly the best subs in Saugus. Literally they are huge!! We got meatball Parm eggplant Parm and steak and cheese subs. They were exceptional so tasty the place is clean the staff is friendly this is my go to place just tried it for the first time and I won’t go anywhere else after eating a sub here. The picture i posted is the size of the sub, they wrap each piece separately because they are so big!! Worth every penny!!
