I was excited to try this new Indian spot just a few minutes from our house on the edge of Malden. Honestly, for the price point, the food far exceeded expectations. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Saag Paneer, Baigan Bharta, and samosas. Everything was flavorful, fresh. I saw another reviewer say the bangan bharta was oily and bitter - ours was smooth, a little pleasantly smokey, and had a complex spicy / slightly sweet seasoning. Cons: Small detail, but when I have ordered naan at other places, we usually get an enormous one, or two pieces in an order - this naan felt like a single-serve only. I'll definitely plan to order more next time. Also, the food isn't spicy at all - just something to be mindful of if you are expecting a bit more heat.

Located on the 2nd floor opened up two months ago, is a nice big place with bright colors. Menu offers various of food cooked differently in Indian cuisine. I highly recommend indulging in a mango lassi, perfectly balanced of sweet & refreshing. My favorite dish was the fish masala, baingan bhartha and goat kauai. The fish masala sauce reminded of butter chicken, very flavorful.They stated the buffet would be open soon, hoping to try it when it does. Ordered food to go and picked it up. We always order mild since kids do not like it spicy and we all loved it! Will definitely order from here again. No complaints! Give them a try!!!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair elevator since it is on second floor.Would recommend a light for downstairs hallway so stairs are not dark.

Figure I give it a shot since this restaurant is fairly new! Prior reviews all consisted of good ratings and I had an expectation going in…The dishes were honestly inaccurately made but it was not terrible. I would describe this restaurant’s Indian food with comparisons to Tex-mex restaurants that claims authentic Mexican cuisine. This restaurant poorly executes the intended tastes and seasonings when preparing the dishes. It lacked depth, flavor, and more importantly texture in comparison to authentic Indian food.2.5/5 rating. Americanized Indian food is what I will describe it. Will not be returning. I wish the best of luck to this establishment as the restaurant business on route one tends to be a flip of a coin in terms of success. If the owner is reading this, provide the customers an excellent product and they will return! If not, they will seek out to the many other competitors in this niche.

Unfortunately I saw the 4.0 review and decided to take a chance, sadly not impressed at all, not sure why open a new restaurant with old furniture, bathroom sink leaking etc, the food is nothing like in pics. The marketing is definitely misleading.
May be the person who never tasted Indian food might like this food but not the Indian for sure until they improve the quality of the food.We ordered roti, onion paratha and malai kofta, we asked malai kofta to be not so sweet. (usually this dish is little sweater)At the end we received the malai kofta with lot of chili powder directly poured into it, to change the taste to spicier!About the Onion Paratha, never seen or tasted onion paratha's like this!! they prepared the paratha and sprinkled onion on top of it, seriously!!!!!!About the Roti, it was horrible, It was so hard that my wife needed to visit dentist next day to get her tooth treated.(finally spent close to 3k for that!)Since the restaurant started couple of months ago, I would like owner of the restaurant to improve the quality.Please hire good cook or get the cook trained by indian cook.

I had been meaning to go to this restaurant since it opened 2 months ago and I'm so glad I did. The food was fresh, flavorful and balanced. The best part, it's all halal!! Beautiful little spot with friendly service and unbelievable food! We went in today and had palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and paneer pakoras. Everything was delicious! The tikka masala was creamy and delicious, making it great with rice or to scoop up with naan and the palak paneer was the best we've had anywhere in the area. The naan was out of this world and the pakoras were fantastic. Definitely our new go to Indian place and we can't recommend it enough!
