Friday night, I visited The Old Grist Mill and almost didn't get to experience what turned out to be a fantastic dining experience. The place was bustling, and initially, it seemed like the wait would be too long. Just as I was about to leave, the manager, Danny, noticed and swiftly intervened to find us a spot. It was a relief not to have to search for another place to eat.Once seated, the service was remarkably attentive despite the crowd. The server recommended the baked stuffed shrimp, which was absolutely deliciou. It was amazing how the staff managed the busy environment without letting the quality of service drop. It was impressive how they handled our initial inconvenience with such professionalism and grace.

We sat inside by the waterfall. It was my first time going, and there seems to be a patio as well. They have chairs along the waterside. So, atmospherically, it's a lovely place to eat. Service was great. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The food was good. I wasn't necessarily WOW'd by the food, but I most certainly wasn't disappointed. I would absolutely return.

I was kind of disappointed with my experience. They didnt have the duck wings which was fine so my husband and I ordered the calamari, they were very rubbery. My husband got the meatloaf and i got the prime rib which were great. We didnt get the bread that was supposed to be offered with the meatloaf meal. The atmosphere is nice but the music was so loud even being in the other room where the music wasnt playing. i was borderline yelling to speak and could barely hear the waitress. It was also very busy so i understand at the same time that that played a role. I also asked for the vanilla pudding togo, when i got home it looked like someone ate half of it. There was barely any whipped cream and just looked really sad. Disappointed for the price you pay to eat here. It took our waitress awhile to get us our check my husband ended up getting up to pay for our meal. It was the end of the night and i understand associates have their closing duties, but after already waiting 30 mins(coming in at 645pm) to be seated and finishing our meal by 830 at night just give us the check when you bring the take out boxes and the desert. Not one thing at a time and then taking 5 mins inbetween each thing.

Went for lunch with friends, love the atmosphere and service. The food wasn’t great or good, I ordered the salmon with romaine salad. The salmon was fine but the salad was deconstructed limp pieces of lettuce, overall very mediocre. My husband ordered the meatloaf sandwich and he wasn’t impressed, not very tasty at all. Food was a disappointment.
