This is your dad's diner, a secret spot, and a time warp all in one. Plus a dash of Cheers, because by your second time visiting everyone knows your name and they're always glad you came. The omelette menu is full of great surprises too. Shirley Airport Diner is a special find with special people.

They only took cash. I only had my atm/debut card not cash. So I didn't go in and eat anything.

Food was good, waitress was awesome and the prices are more than affordable. I'd definitely go back.Kid-friendliness: Nice plays to bring kids, noise is not a problem and you get to show them the old diner.

Quaint little place on the side of the road. Food was good. New omelet options like my hamburger w/ onion, tomato, & pickle. Cinn bun was good but could have been warmer.

If you like old diners, you will love this place! It's a walk back into time, lots of original diner details. Food was very good. It took a bit for it to come out, but it was hot and delicious. We had breakfast - coffee was never empty. Service was also good.

Well the photo says it all. Not that I expected this place to be a fast food joint but I did expect better more efficient service. Came in on a work break expected an in an out breakfast…5 other people were in the diner….it took an hour to get eggs, corned beef hash, and toast. The server working the bar claimed the hash takes 20 minutes or longer to make which just is not true….been to plenty diners where my meal and hash comes out under 10 min flat. Not coming back simple as that

Most redneck diner I've ever been to so far. It was definitely an interesting experience if I do say so myself. The food was good. The aesthetic of the diner (especially with the pro-trump decals on the wall at the time of me being there) added a lot to the whole thing too. I'd like to revisit this place one day, but that'll be until the day I don't have to borrow a car to get there.

Yikes! This place is a walking corpse. First of all, the building hasn't been maintained or cleaned in about 20 years. Then there was Laura, the only waitress... I don't think I've met a more unpleasant or unprofessional person in my life. She coughed in our orange juice, both cups. And spent the ENTIRE time we were there complaining to her friend about regular cutomers, her ex-husband and his unsurprising drinking probelm, and everyone else in her life. She said she was going to spit in someone's tea next time he came in and was openly complaining about the owner of the diner. Also, there's no airport here. To be honest, the food was fine, if a little late, but having to worry about Laura's spit didn't exactly make it appetizing.I would suggest you go to the lovely airport diner in Stow. There's an actual airfield along with a caring staff. Or go to McDonald's, or just skip a meal. This place is not worth your time.

This diner is very nice. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Seating is somewhat limited, but your overflow party can sit at the counter that has swivel round bar stools. The plates of food are very reasonable, and plates are full, they don't skimp on the portions if food served. Model airplane ✈️ hanging from the ceiling.Kid-friendliness: They have Mickey Mouse pancakes ?, chocolate milk, white milk.

Truthfully, this place is not very good. I have been coming here for over a year, and honestly, it seems to get worse. My last visit will truly be my last. The first issue is the wait for any order is abysmal. Over my last few visits, most of my lunch was taken by the incredible wait for the food. There is a single person working in back and whether it is busy or not, prepare to wait. And we are talking either simple breakfast type of meals or daily specials. Secondly, food quality also is diminishing. Last week I ordered their 2 hot dog and fries special. Since they were out of hot dog buns, I needed to substitute white bread slices. After 22 minutes, I received my hot dogs with incredibly stale potato chips. When I inquired about the fries, there was an apology and the offer to put an order in. I knew from a time perspective; I just couldn't wait. What a horrible outcome. Time before was meatloaf special. Mushy, uncooked onions and pepper mess. Diner beware.
