Sawa is a solid place for sushi. The Specialty Rolls here are great and they have some good sake selections here as well. The price point is high but the quality is really good. The bar here is huge so you should be able to find plenty of bar seating if you're a bar person.

I ordered the sashimi appetizer, miso soup, and the raw dynamite roll. The soup was fine, not the best or worst I've had. The dynamite roll was spicy, and I was disappointed it was crab stick on top, but it was mediocre so I ate it. Then on to my sashimi, the salmon was against the ginger so I had a piece of that that first, as expected tasted like ginger. Then I had a piece of the white fish because I'm usually not a fan of it. Finally I tried the tuna, that's when I stopped eating. The tuna clearly was not fresh. I threw everything that was left away, but it was enough to make me terribly sick.

I love sawas sushi and hot meals. Order nearly every day at work. I would say, however, not to get the white tuna. The "white tuna" they have is not actual tuna, but Escolar and you can google the side effects of eating Escolar to know it's not an ideal replacement. I've had real white tuna and I would urge sawa to either serve albacore or change the name so people know what they're getting into

Fun and upbeat environment, the chefs are extremely interactive with the guest, the food was on point, the service was substantial. A great place for a celebration and a night out. The sushi was fresh and delightful, a real work of art, I look forward to trying all there menu items.

Food is descent but service was a bit spotty! I was given the check by one of servers and I told her that I wasn't done. She looked confused. Next thing you know another server came in to help. Never had that happen. Even with that I still have 20% tip but I ain't going back. Time to try a different spot.

I really had high hopes when I ordered my food from here from DoorDash and I was disappointed!! I ordered firecracker sushi, shrimp tempura and both of them had super stale fish! A sushi is as good as the freshness of the fish, and this tasted really stale. I also ordered hibachi fried rice with shrimp and lobster for a whopping 28$ which is pretty expensive for a stale fish dish! Not going to recommend this if you are a sushi lover like me!

Food was great! A group of friends and I went in. Surprisingly crowded. The wait staff was a little slow and rude but it was a busy night. We did hibachi and the chef was amazing, he was friendly and funny! Our group loved him! As for the food it was amazing. I didn't like vegetables so they have me extra rice to make it up which is nice because most places doesn't do that. Sushi was amazing as always, drinks were stronger than usual! Overall experience was great! Service just needs to step it up a bit!
