Usually the food is pretty good here but I've had some off nights lately. Service is always excellent. Decor is very 90s but comfy. The main problem is it's way too expensive. 17.79 for a dinner combo with soup as of 3/24.

Gross food and actual prices are almost double what is listed on Google. 2 basic dinners and 2 egg rolls were $50!! I’m not sure what meat they are calling “beef” but it is unlike any beef I have ever had. It is inedible leather. Also, their prices are almost double what you see on google. They will lie to you and tell you they can’t update it. Dinners are almost entirely rice or noodle with virtually zero of the disgusting meat they serve. Never again

This really is a 2 star restaurant but the server was so extraordinary, she received 1star just for how great she was. It was like a visit to a Chinese restaurant in 1980. The dishes were proportioned and that cafeteria kind of glass. Now the food... the restaurant is unusually expensive for pretty basic Chinese food. I did want to give it a fair try, so I purchased a combination plate which was chicken fingers, pork, fried rice, and chow mein. My extraordinary waitress made sure I had all the accompaniments, including chili oil, duck sauce, mustard and soy sauce. The combo was $13. There was a good amount of hot and well-made chicken fingers. No complaint really good. With it was a pork fried rice that was prepared a long time before my serving. It was barely warm. Had the usual stuff, but I only had two or three nuggets of pork. The chow mein was pretty bad, he conglomeration of noodles, and some other stuff, pretty unrecognizable, and not tell me as I've always had it. Expensive for entrées and appetizers and unsure if anything else is much better. Drove 10 miles to try it, my mistake.

Been coming here for literal decades. I've seen it slowly go downhill, but now it's just inexcusable. Everything is crazy expensive, and rarely good enough to justify it. Any dish or stir-fry with meat and veggies is going to be 90% veggies by volume so don't waste your money. I miss when food was affordable and worth it. These days I find myself struggling to even get one of the above. A large soup and a large fried rice should not cost me forty bucks.Service is always great, though. My compliments to the staff; none of this is their fault.

I was out visiting Summers/Fall River Chinese is different (and better) then the rest of the country so I had to stop here. I had the #1 Chow Mein was great but maybe a little small. I recommend less rice and more Mein Egg Roll is miles above anything on the west coast. Large and full and exceptionally crispy. Our waitress was friendly and very enthusiastic.

Rev up your car engine for that new england winter cold and head 1 mile south of china lake to the county store and buy some numbers, because you have a better chance of hitting the powerball three times over than this establishment serving you the food you actually ordered! why go some place else when you can waste your time here and get an attitude from the staff when they have to fix their own mistake? The food (when it's actually right) is actually very good, unfortunately, it's ice cold after 5 minutes. overall from my experiences here, disappointing, save your money and go elsewhere.

Wow! Coming from Taunton a.k.a. the land without decent Chinese food options. While looking for reviews of a good Chinese restaurant in the surrounding area. China lake had the most positive reviews. We decided to go for it and wow am I happy we did!!! I don't even like chicken fingers but we got them just as a test. Well, I'll be damned! I haven't had this quality of chicken finger in well over 10 years. The rice and lo mein were so fresh! I coukd taste all the veggies. The peppers were crunchy and fresh. I dont even like mushrooms much but even they were delicious!! Oo and what water chestnuts, which are my favorite were fresh and delicious. The crab ragoon tasted like crab!!! I am so thankful we found you!!!

Service was great! Food on other hand was terrible not worth it! Got the poo poo platter and pork fried rice! Rice tasted days old and platter was over fried and greasy gross, no flavor, not impressed! That is why it was the last time we go there!
The BEST egg rolls in the country. We always get extra to take home. Great Lo Mein too.

Was our first visit there after a disappointing meL years ago. It was that bad. There's not much good Chinese food around anymore, especially 'old style" Chinese American food.We went on a Friday.midafternoon & was busy for the ONLY (1) waitress running around the diningroom. And this was not a young girl. Very unfair that management expects her to serve a dining room that size alone. WhT if a tour bus stopped in?I haven't been to to many Chinese restaurants lately, but it seems expensive for Chinese food? But I can speak loud & clear Bout it on whether I choose to go back or not!We ordered crab ragoons, chicken fingers & fried rice. More than enough for 2.. the food was pretty good! ??Service needs improvement by hiring more servers to help that waitress.
