Me and my Girlfriend discovered this place accidentally. At first we wanted to grab an orange chicken since I was craving and this was the closest "Chinese" restaurant google could find but as soon we discovered it is actually a Mongolian place. I was a bit mad at first but since we were both hungry and our willings to open up for new ideas, we decided to go ahead and give it a shot, and i am glad we did cause there Rockpot was amazing. We could not get enough of it so we went back for more and Everytime it gets better and better.

The gall of these people. I paid $6+ for BBQ sausage--it was two supermarket hot dogs covered in cumin and cut up like you would for a child. BBQ fish tofu was also like a nasty fish sponge. Service was fine, and the soup dumplings were a bit below average but edible.

Just had one of the worst meals we can remember. Dumplings were limp and flavorless, bbq broccoli was tasty but barely 2 bites worth on the plate, worst of all was rock pot tofu. Dish picture looked completely different than what we were served....a few pieces of bland tofu in water with a couple peas and carrot. All up $40 for a disappointing meal. The only silver lining was the waiter was friendly.

This place is absolutely one of the most attractive restaurants in the area. Every time I visit this place I am extremely glad. They always keep their high level service and the topmost level of meals they offer. You always win with this place. Very recommended.

Stopped in for a quick dinner before catching a movie across the street, and was so glad I did. The place as cozy and mostly full, with a good vibe. My Pork Wonton Soup came quickly and it was fantastic. The wontons just had so much flavor and the steaming broth was just right for a chilly, rainy January night. I told the waitperson how much I loved it, and he gave all the credit to the woman doing the cooking. Next thing I knew, she was offering me a free sample of some vegetable fried rice she'd just prepared. It, too, was full of a hearty flavor that made it delicious. Looking forward to eating a full dish of it next time.

I've never eaten in a restaurant that so obviously uses frozen mixed vegetables from the bag, but the peas and little carrot cubes are unmistakable. $20 for a beef stew made with frozen mixed vegetables! The dining experience revolves around the one server's constant exasperation at being woefully understaffed. I wanted a bubble tea but was told they were too busy to make me one. Next time I will think twice before coming in and troubling the overworked waitstaff. It's too bad because some of the menu items are alright, hence the extra star.

I have a feeling this place is a hit or miss, more of a miss (?). Yes to the previous review of their sausage, it's just a hot dog. Fried noodles looked mediocre. The steamed soup dumplings were somewhat interesting. Very nice Latino waiter guy except him and cooks kept talking/arguing loudly about money at the entrance to the kitchen which makes the sit-in customers uncomfortable. The place seems understaffed since he only brings out one dish at a time, as in you get a side of plain noodles first and have to wait for the main dish. They were also out of rice at lunch (?) Maybe they're just working out the kinks or they're that much out of it. The menu seems way overpriced for some dishes. Not sure if I'd be a regular.
